Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - American restaurant in Simpsonville - 3954 Grandview Dr, USA

I took my family out to dinner here and their food was done perfectly. I had no complaints. The server was excellent and helpful. My steak was juicy and extremely flavorful. The portions were huge and not a high price at all.

We waited almost if not an hour for the food because there was some backup in the kitchen. It was New Year day so I wasn't surprised at the busyness, but the place seemed short staffed for a holiday. Our waitress was so sweet and did such a good job communicating with us and keeping our drinks filled. Overall it wasn't a bad experience. My husband was a little upset at the wait because we had things to do but I felt given the fact it was a holiday, the staff was doing the best they could. My food was actually fresher this time than the last few times we have been in.

Service was slow and most of the food not great. The biscuits and cornbread are the driest I have ever had. The hashbrown casserole was also dry and also mostly devoid of taste. The pancakes are good but that's about it. It also needs some updating. The finish is worn off on most of the tables. The store is still nice though and possibly their only saving grace.

I haven’t been on a Thursday in awhile for the turkey and dressing. On my recent visits the T &D plate was excellent! The biscuits, however, were flat. Not what we are used to having. Rating would be a full five if the biscuits were better.

This location is just ok with the staff being short and customers waiting longer than you want to. Now the food has just been average the last three times I have ate there. Just be patient with the service and hope the kitchen is having a good day 😄 Breakfast time is probably the best time to go because it's hard to make a bad serving of grits👍 Coffee is good so far ✅

The service here was divine as if every employee was sent by Heaven. They took care of me with a smile, even at 8am. Food is just as good as I remembered it with a menu that changes with the seasons. All I wanted was some sides and biscuits and my Waitress taught me of an easier combo that had everything I wanted at a lower cost. Impression: Staff truly care about your experience and can give you true southern hospitality.

Olivia our server on Cracker Barrel on Grandview dr in simpsonville SC was the best server weve had at any restaurant since Covid hit in 2020. We tipped her extra well for her friendliness, service and smiles. The food has improved. So keep it up! Commend and reward Olivia!

Food was good as always. The high chair that was provided for my child had someone else’s left over eggs and green beans in it. The server seemed less than enthusiastic to be serving us, a group of 7. Also I think it’s just plain rude to have an AirPod in while working. Service has been bad the last few times we have been there. Seems like management allows this type of behavior, which means it will probably continue.
