As the fall days get crisp it is always great to come into a freshly burning wood fire. Latte’s were delicious. If you are a pickle fan, the fried pickles with dill ranch was fantastic, great pot pie and chicken finger dinners. You can’t go wrong ever with the bisects. The only downside was the fried okra was left under the warming light too long. Our server was Jack and she is the epitome of exceptional customer service, pleasant, personable and prompt. We even signed up for their reward program because of Jack. We will be returning!!!

The food at Cracker Barrel is always hit or miss. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s not. The service is usually pretty good and they take care of you the best they can if there is an issue with your food. The menu is consistent and the prices are reasonable. Breakfast is usually much better than lunch or dinner food.

I love the cracker barrel we go there quite often. We love the people there they're friendly nice and we love to shop in their gift shop. They have some unique clothes you don't find anywhere else. Cracker barrel is number one in my book

I LOVE SHOPPING THE CHILDREN CLOTHES AND SHOES. THEY ALWAYS HAVE THE CUTEST THINGS…. Food & Service was good this time around. NOT a fan favorite of the Sunday Southern Fried Chicken.. To ME - it has a flourish taste / texture to it… all the more reason I prefer BAKED / GRILLED / Pit cooked Chicken… Husband had breakfast and his pancakes were delicious (I ate some of them instead of chicken) shhhh we won’t let that out.. haha Over all - GOOD FOOD AND SERVICE

We visited mt airy just for one night and decided to stop in to Cracker Barrel. I was very excited to get my favorite Cracker Barrel meal the chicken and dumplings. I had hashbrown casserole and a side salad with ranch as my two sides. My boyfriend got the country fried steak with okra, dumplings, and I’m struggling to remember his third side. He stated his food was “alright”. He did enjoy the okra. The biggest problem with my meal was the fact that my dumplings were swimming, there was no thickness at all. My dumplings were also not that hot. The pros are that our waitress Sofie(or Sofia) had great customer service and was very prompt and when we checked out the cashier was very kind. The food did come quickly however it could have just been a little better.

Stopped for breakfast/brunch around 10 and although service was great the meal wasn’t. The sausage and hash brown casserole was dried out and horrible. Eggs were okay but other than the coffee it was a horrible meal. Every time we try Cracker Barrel we leave disappointed. We Won’t be back if meals are subpar…there are just other places that care about quality and customer satisfaction…this isn’t one of them!

I lived visiting this Cracker Barrel traveling. The waitress was friendly and so helpful about the menu. The food was delicious. Bathroom was neat and clean. The checkout hostess was so friendly too. Whenever in Mt. Airy, North Carolina, I will stop and eat there again.
