We had a great family meal here. The food at Cracker Barrel is always good, but the staff here really made this visit exceptional. I am very pleased with the food and especially the service.

If I could leave a negative star I would. We came in with a party of 14 for my grandfather's 90th birthday and all of us are dissatisfied and disappointed. Most the food was ice cold, missing sides or salads or just flat out disgusting. We even had to ask to have food microwaved. You all should just flat out be ashamed of yourselves. I wouldn't have served half this food we received to starving dogs, they wouldn't have ate it anyway. Do better!! It isn't that hard, I promise!!

Good food at a good price. The service was great. We did not have to ask for our drinks to be refilled. The food was pretty good as well. Our hamburger steaks were both cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Make sure you add the onions and gravy. Quite a few pieces of my okra were dry and had a funny texture. Also, the hashbrown casserole wasn't very hot. The mashed potatoes and gravy were on point. The mac and cheese was good but watery.

Waitress was great but for the fourth time we had to wait on our biscuits, we ask for them, which I do not think we should have to, was told 2 minutes they would be out. 15minutes later and meal almost done asked again. Oh you didn’t get your biscuits, no they didn’t walk out to us. Oh ok was not the answer I wanted to hear either. You are famous for your biscuits and homemade meals , but when we can’t get them it is very disappointing

We got a to go order that cost $49.xx. We paid extra for an additional side of fried apples. We got to Versailles (12 miles away) and found that we didn't have it. Also, we were supposed to have biscuits with Country Dinner plate and that was missing too. We didn't get blackberry jam either like we requested. This is an awful lot to pay to have these mistakes. The one packing orders up should take more care in verifying order. Not a Cracker Barrel fan right now.

I’ve never had bland food at Cracker Barrel, but that is exactly what tonight’s food was. Nothing was seasoned or had any flavor. The corn tasted as though they opened a can of corn and dumped it in the bowl. The green beans looked like they had been cooked as my mom would do, but they clearly forgot to add anything that would have added seasoning. My roast beef that is supposed to be ‘slow roasted for 14 hours’ so it should be tender, but I had to slice it with a knife as though it was a steak or something!! I have never had food that was like this from Cracker Barrel. It was awful. Top it off with poor service. We were there for an hour before getting our food. Now, granted, we didn’t order as soon as we sat down, but we did order within 15 minutes, so we waited for 45 minutes after ordering. I had to ask for a drink refill and could have had another, but didn’t want to bother with asking again. The poor service wasn’t for lack of waitresses. They had everyone seated in one area of the restaurant and there were 4 waitresses for the area—so they each had about 4 tables, maybe 5. I don’t know if the problem was the waitress or the kitchen or both. It may have helped a little if the waitress had been apologetic, but she absolutely was not. In fact, when the table next to us was missing food and she said she would bring it out, they had to ask a second time for it and her response was ‘I told you I would bring it out’. They had been waiting for a few minutes and were not rude about asking a second time. She could have said, oh I’m sorry, I’ll be right back. She clearly was having a bad day or she hated her job because she did not smile at all and was not friendly. I hate giving bad reviews especially regarding waitressing because it is a hard job. I always give a higher tip than the new standard of 20%, but not tonight.

Been 10 years since I’ve been in any CB. This restaurant was clean and the service good the food was fine just not that homestyle cooking I remembered. The food is more institutional and less homey. Biscuits and gravy are like the free stuff you get for hotel breakfast. I remember the chunks of sausage and creamy gravy. Biscuits are not drop biscuits but feel like they just came out of a food service place- soft but not fresh.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. GO NEXT DOOR TO SONNY'S BARBECUE. Well, this place gets worse over time. We haven't eaten there for nearly a year because of the poor quality of the food and service. We were seated rather quickly since it was very slow with very few patrons, and our waitress didn't come by to check on us. About 10 minutes later a waiter, Stuart, stopped to ask if anyone had been by; to which we said no. He went to check and came back to let us know our waitress had gone on break. Bad coordination between hostess and wait staff. He got is some drinks and the another 10 minutes later the waitress showed up to take our order. No biscuits or muffins brought to the table until we asked for them. Overall another bad experience. We don't look to be back.

I live out-of-state (Georgia) and was just crossing my fingers about the appearance of the open-heart wreath. Let me say that I was extremely delighted of how beautiful it looked for my aunt who passed away. It was simply gorgeous. When my family
