Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - American restaurant in Burleson - 13301 South Fwy, USA

I don’t usually give bad reviews. We did a pickup order for our daughters 10th birthday dinner. We didn’t get our biscuits, so I just called nicely to let them know. The lady asked if we were going to come back I said “no ma’am we live all the way in Joshua” So she said “what exactly are you wanting”? I told her I just wanted to let them know. And she said okay and hung up. Our food was absolutely terrible. Cold, hard, and just eww. Even our baked potato was rock hard. We’ve never had a problem siting and eating there before, but I know we will definitely never do pick up order EVER again!!!

I was greeted warmly. My server was great! The food was ok. I would expect more for the up charge of my fish filet. You dropped the ball today. No, I won't return to this location 😔 I asked if I could get another filet that wasn't fried as hard. I was told that it would come out the same way. Liar's! I frequent Cracker Barrel and I tried this location in Burleson but NEVER AGAIN! My server was GREAT though

The barrel is alway a fun stop. They have so much stuff. Food is pretty dang good to. Good ol' home cooking.

The food was mediocre at best every single plate was warm to cold. Our appetizer never came out or the extras we ordered we were a party of 8 and half the table received their meals while the other half waited on theirs. I had to get up and ask for the rest of the party’s meals when the other 1/2 of the party was half way through. The manger removed drinks as compensation seriously most of us had water! I have not been to Cracker Barrel since 2022 and now I remember why. I am sorry to say this was very disappointing all around.

Had a great Birthday dinner we had catfish, chicken fried steak, roast beef and fried chicken. Hagen was a great waitress, drinks where always full and checked on us to make sure we were always OK. Hostess and check out staff was also pleasant. Great place to eat at fair prices.

It was a packed house when we arrived. We utilized the Cracker Barrel App beforehand to get on the waitlist so when we are our table was ready! The App is so awesome! The food was great our server was good but not efficient. Very sweet demeanor and a willing attitude but would be gone for long periods of time before she checked on us. We would have to wait on refills too long. The place was cleaned as soon as someone left. I will say in some areas the tables were too close. It felt claustrophobic. Checkout the lines were long but the cashiers were very efficient and kept everyone in line. No cutting as one gentleman attempted to do!

Mom and haven’t been here in a good while. I was in the mood for an old fashioned breakfast so I had the Country Boy Breakfast. Man did it hit the spot. So fresh and tasty. I haven’t eaten that much in a while. Momma had the pot roast and she said it was delicious as well. Our server Tanya P was such a pleasure to be served by. Really added to our dining experience. Our pleasure was reflected in our tip. Well deserved. After dinner I provided the entertainment by teaching moms how to solve the Cracker Barrel Peg Game using a story I learned online a few weeks ago. Much simpler than the 13 step algorithm I had memorized previously to solve the puzzle.
