Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - American restaurant in Camarillo - 560 Ventura Blvd, USA

Food looks good but lacks flavor. We were excited to try for dinner but pretty disappointed. Had 4 different meals and cinnamon roll pie and have no desire to go again. Only item we all agreed on were biscuits which were delicious. Atmosphere is nice but definitely an overrated restaurant.

This place is awesome! My girlfriend had the Lemon Peppered Grilled Rainbow Trout which was cooked to perfection and super delicious. The carrots and mash potato's were the best of the best. I had their Classic Sampler with Chicken and Dumplings, the best Meatloaf EVER along with Mac N Cheese and Country Green Beans. The Biscuits are super delicious and their Old Fashion Lemonade is out of this world. The folks are really, really nice and polite and make you feel like home. Treat yourselves to an awesome dinning experience and go there today!

First time dining here at the Camarillo branch, everything we ordered was just delicious, from the entrees and all four sides, our drinks and dessert, it was a great experience. I believe our server's name was Jennifer and she was wonderful. Would be back and highly recommend this place for excellent dining!

First time at a Cracker Barrel and I was honestly not that impressed with the food, found the chicken fried steak to be little to salty/peppery.. there wasn’t nothing special about the dumplings nor the Mac and cheese. The only thing that was really good was biscuits with the apple butter those were addictive and the peach tea. The ambiance is very much southern style country. The shop is nice and holds many gems.

First time here. Amazing staff, great atmosphere and most of all the food is fantastic! Every bite comforts the soul. Loaded baked sweet potato is a must have. Grilled or crispy chicken is tender and juicy. If you’re a bacon lover, this is your restaurant. Fried apples and coleslaw are good choices for sides. Once you try this place, you’ll be back for sure. Came back again for the 3rd time and just like before, good food and great staff. Our awesome server Tara made the best Cinnamon Roll Latte’s. Put off coming here because of a bad experience at the cracker barrel in Santa Maria. So, we finally went to the Camarillo restaurant yesterday and it was great. Fresh and tasty food, prepared just right. Fast, friendly and professional service and a fun atmosphere. The shop has plenty of interesting products to keep you amused after your meal too. We will definitely go back again. We had breaded pork chops and fried chicken breasts. Excellent meal.

Always stop at Cracker Barrel Camarillo on the way to and from Solvang. Breakfast was delicious. Dinner on the was back was just okay. Got the roast beef but was more like pot roast and the hash brown casserole was hard on top like it had been sitting under the heat lamps for too long. So a little disappointed. Enjoy looking through their country store.

My family and I enjoy come here for breakfast at any time of the day We highly recommend the cheesecake pancakes Anything with chicken is also delicious I feel this place taste better than Ihop, but unfortunately, on this occasion, they forgot about our blueberry pancakes. We had all finished our meals, and then they brought out my wife’s blueberry pancakes. It was upsetting because we come here to eat together not one at a time, but the food tasted great , coffee is very good. I would come back again.
