Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - American restaurant in San Antonio - 123 SW Loop 410, USA

We were a large crowd of close to 20 but I have to give the server credit. She took our orders quickly and orderly. Our drinks came quickly the coffe refills kept coming so the service was excellent. This was very good also. I had the eggs Benny with a side of grits. It came with cooked apples which was very god also. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a place to have breakfast or brunch.

The food was excellent and the portions were more than generous compared to other Cracker Barrel locations in San Antonio. Despite waiting almost 20 minutes to get acknowledged by my server, she was definitely on top of her game after taking my order.

Unfortunately it seems to me that since they started serving alcohol, this place has gone downhill. We have been here several times and normally have a great experience. This time however was anything but that. Our waitress got overwhelmed and had to be relieved. Other wait staff had to take over our table after sitting for an hour with no food. Once we received our food, our orders were incorrect. I ordered the trio with chicken fingers, shrimp, and sirloin tips to only receive chicken strips and fries. Another at our table did not get part of their meal either. On top of everything, no offer by management to make things right or offer a discount of any kind. Likely will not be back at this location.

Love coming here. Food is fresh, Savanah, our waitress, was great. We went on a Friday night and waited only 10 minutes for a party of 5.

We had the sweetest waitress! She was very attentive and super friendly, she had a wonderful attitude. The food was very good, I got the cheesecake filled pancakes that came topped with strawberries and cream. This dish is perfect if you have a sweet tooth! The only thing I found unusual was that the waitress said that the jam for the biscuits were kept behind locked doors, so it took awhile before we got any and then it was only two for 6 biscuits. Why are you locking up the jam Cracker Barrel??

A place where the southern comfort food is cooked very well and served with a smile. There has been little changes over the years except the country store where seasonal items are well stocked and fresh every year. The Chicken Pot Pie was really delicious with a nice tasty crust on top. The place has always been a staple place to take my parents to.

We were in San Antonio for an event during the week of Thanksgiving and decided to have Thanksgiving dinner at The Cracker Barrel. We expected a long wait and somewhat stressful experience since they were bound to be very busy, but ended up waiting only 15 minutes and overall had a relaxing, wonderful time. The dinner included all the traditional things, even a slice of pumpkin pie. The food was good and portions were perfect. Our waiter was excellent. The place was packed, but he was very attentive, patient, and polite, one of the best servers I have witnessed. Considering how busy it was, I was so impressed by all the staff. In addition to serving customers inside, they were distributing take-home orders out back, yet, from my perspective, kept everything running smoothly. The Cracker Barrel is one of the few chain restaurants I have consistently had good experiences with, and this visit really exceeded my expectations

Haven’t been CB in a while but it was pretty busy so I’m not sure if this is normal but the staff was amazing and polite and our waiter was very attentive 🫶 pictured is the cheesecake stuffed strawberry pancakes( I think I can’t remember) ⭐️9/10 not too sweet very good but the strawberry jam just wasn’t my preference :))
