I think it's time to update your procedures on verification.. when you call the customer service numbers. You get the computer wanting to verify who you are. Just to be sent to a human that has to verify you again. If that person can't help you. They send you to someone else that wants to verify you again. Its 2024 the technology is here and has been here for years. So there is no reason there should be 5mins of verification. The computer can pass on information that a person has already verified them.

Been paying for months of internet and never getting a signal. The internet is completely USELESS! Cox truly sucks with their service. Switching to Ideatek!

Decided to switch due to increasing bills without increased use and poor/no customer service to find out the problem. At this time found that they were expecting equipment back we never got. They “forgave“ it once we asked for proof of whoever signed for it (since it was never sent) but I found out we’ve been getting changed $5 a month rental fee for equipment we never had which adds up to $180 over 3 years yhat they will not give back and effectivly stole from us. Be weary when considering Cox.

Customer service sucks they refuse to send anybody over to reconnect my internet line that they said is connected. They keep saying that there computer isn’t wrong and now it’s a holiday weekend and I’m screwed thanks a lot cox’s.

Garbage internet u don’t get the speed you pay for thankfully nextech fiber finished up in our area and got it installed at our house and canceled service to cox but now have to drive 1hr 30min to take router to store or get charge 200 dollars I hope they loose so much business. I get 1gig up 1gig down with no data cap for $69 like that was a easy choice to switch

Not a review of the location but the company in general. This company charges WAY too much. I pay $160 a month for our internet and we STILL have constant problems with throttling and outages. They try to act like they fixed an outage sometimes when they didn't as well. About two months ago there was an outage in my area that the site said had been addressed and fixed. Yet we continued to have problems for HOURS afterwards. When I contacted customer service I just kept being told that there was no outage as I was constantly disconnected from the chat. Then almost an hour into trying to get the issue fixed, someone FINALLY admitted there was an outage and got someone out. I am only a Cox customer because there is no better option. The SECOND that Ideatek is available in my area I am gone. Edit 11 months after initial review: Just want to say that Ideatek became available in my area in December. I literally called to switch within hours of seeing their truck in my area. Have had their internet for almost 4 months now. It's faster and cheaper than what we were paying for fast internet through cox. The internet has also been FAR more reliable.

I went into the cox store and i wanted to lower my bill. Autumn helped me so much. she lowered my bill by 30$ and signed me up for the acp program saving 30 more. Also got my switched over from verizon saving me 60$ dollars there!! She was amazing. much better than the customer service over the phone
