Cow harbor was very welcoming when I joined. CCH is very organized, the classes are well structured. The coaches pay attention to make sure all movements are correct. They have plenty class times in case I cannot make one. The coaches are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Having recently moved to the area and exploring several other gyms, I am very happy to have joined Cow Harbor CrossFit (CHCF). From day one, I experienced a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I have been a part of the CrossFit community on and off for about 10 years and there’s a reason I keep coming back! After having a baby a year and a half ago, getting back into working out was tough. Two months ago I regained the courage to return to CrossFit and Cow Harbor welcomed me with open arms. They have been so motivating and encouraging which has been extremely helpful while navigating my postpartum body and strength. The classes are challenging (in the best way possible!), the coaches are incredibly helpful and the people are so friendly. I look forward to 7am classes and feel lucky to have found a great community of people

I love working out at Cow Harbor CrossFit! The coaches are great, and always have my safety as a priority when I am going through the routines. I feel so accomplished when I hit a milestone, and I rang the bell for the first time today because I hit two goals! So exciting when everyone cheers for you!

I've been doing CrossFit on and off since 2007. Have been a part time member of boxes in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Dropped in to boxes all across the country. I've been full time at Cow Harbor for 6 yrs since I moved to Long Island. To say its a new home is an understatement. The gym itself is clean and well kept with all the equipment you could need. The coaches care and support you. If you missed a week, they check in on you to see how you're doing! And then there is the community. this is the top part of Crossfit in general- but especially at Cow Harbor. I'm not from LI and having a place to connect with other like minded adults is awesome. Its way better than going to a globo gym on your own. Like if you played guitar, sure you could play at home in your basement but going to cow Harbor is like taking that guitar to jam with your friends. It keeps you accountable, a certain time and a certain place. When you go you get better, its simple. You get stronger, you get faster, you get better at everything in your life. you learn how to do hard things. you meet friends. What else can I say? Lou and Alison and the whole crew are top notch.

ITs comforting to know there is another AMAZING affiliate on Long Island just north of my home gym. Always grateful for the coaches and members at CHCF for filling my cup at a home away from home!
