Courtyard Villa Hotel - Featured Reviews (95)
Visited for 4 days Feb 24. Like previous reviews it's all about the perfect location. Place needs a serious update which is happening this year but I guess that will mean a serious rise in prices. My stay didn't start well with a stumble down the concrete steps from our room the first evening. There was a light there but not working!.I grazed my arm. A helpful cleaner suggested I break off a stem of the Aloa Vera plant there to ease the soreness and it worked.
We would go back for one reason only. Ms. V, who single handedly takes care of the guest, the rooms, laundry and the grounds is an incredible lady who takes such pride in ensuring every guest has what they need to have an enjoyable stay. For this reason we over looked the worn out accommodations. I will take a worn out room that is clean over a luxury room that is dirty any day. I will take a worn out room that comes with amazing staff over a luxury room where you're ignored, taken for granted and feeling like they could care less if you're there or not. Normally I wouldn't stay in a place of this condition again. However, the bed is comfortable, the linens and towels clean and fresh, the bathroom freshly cleaned and smelling of cleaning products and Ms. V is always asking, "do you need anything? and saying, you let me know if you need anything". But we never had to ask because she was always a step ahead with anything we might need. On Valentine's day she left us a bottle of champagne. I'm sure she bought it herself. This lady loves this building and loves the guest who stay there. We heard from another guest that it's going to be torn down soon for renovations. If Ms. V isn't there when it's fresh and new, we wouldn't go. There are plenty of new and renovated accommodations in the area but they don't have Ms. V. I sincerely hope the owners and/or managers know and appreciate what they have in Ms. V. As someone who travels 4 to 6 times a year, I know how rare Ms. V is. She genuinely wants the guest to feel welcomed and have everything they need to enjoy their stay. Thank you Ms. V, hope to see you again soon.
Positive: Location and ability to walk to hotspots is only positive. Negative: This hotel is no where near a 3 star. Old and run down inside & out! Doors rusted and do not lock! Refrigerator defrosted in floor 1st night! Reported but not addressed! Window unit for AC unable to cool unit. Exposed wires and electrical cords. AWFUL!!! Negative: ""
Stayed here for two days with my husband. Perfect location as beach was steps from our room as was all restaurants. Ms V made sure we had everything that we needed on a daily basis! She made our stay that much more enjoyable. She is a true asset to your business. We will return because of her.
Arriving during the hotel's opening hours did not guarantee that anyone would be present. Fortunately, there was a phone number on the wall. No one answered.||Until a call back and an ambiguous request to the hotel next door.||||We finally found out when we were looking for it that it was indeed an adjoining hotel. The young boy didn’t just bother to come against us.||||Luckily we got a room. The door had seen its best days and we also locked it in our time with the door lock. Half of the glass door blind had disappeared along the way, but it was possible to close it with a beach towel.||||After a day of travel, it’s nice to fall into bed. Usually. The other half of the bed was like the Tower of Pisa. Crooked as what. My back cried out for mercy every morning.||||The room was otherwise barren and cold and it didn't help that the voices of the children next door were heard right through. As if we had a rag door between our rooms.||||Popping on the hotel shore confirmed that the sun loungers were not from this millennium. Anyway, everything was a little untidy.||||However. The location was great and there were sunny restaurants and bars a few steps away. Great.||||The positive twinkle continued when we noticed there was a good fridge in the room. The bathroom was also very functional and clean. Stars 5/5.||||Yes. Easily here in a few days survived and without the services of a chiropractor due to a bad bed. The laundry was allowed to dry in front of the air conditioner and the neighbor’s children also left after the first night. There was no congestion on the sun loungers and they were allowed to sunbathe.||||It still occurred to me that you shouldn't expect anything from a cleaner. Towel change or toilet paper had to be requested many times and yet they were not meant to be delivered. The room was also not cleaned once in three days.||||It was pretty nice to be. It was really nice to leave.
This place is the best! I feel like I’m staying with family. The hotel is older but it has a lot of charm. The staff is amazing. The beds are super comfy and the room is clean. I’m going to have to drag my son (age 10) out of here. He’s became friends with the housekeeper, Ms. V. He said that he never wants to leave and he wants to work as Ms.V’s assistant. It’s right on the beach and walking distance from everything that you could possibly need. The price is great. I highly recommend!
Johnny. That Guy is Amazing. Took care of us nicely. They need to have more staff like that. We had a issue after hours. And the guy came out in like minutes. Good job guys. Keep it up. Cant wait to see the upgrades. Comeing!!
Talk about false advertising…
1.) First off, there isn’t a direct website to book through; it’s all through third-party websites and they all say “private entrance,” “kitchenette,” and “ocean view” when that is NOT the case for every room.
I was emailed “additional charges” right before checking into my room.
2) All the towels were dirty, sheets were dirty, and unit itself was simply unkempt. Ms. V would always check in and ask if we received new towels and warned us of the ants (bless her soul, the real gem there with her hospitality).
3.) There isn’t a pool at all. Just a small “pool” that’s always warmed up and is considered the “jacuzzi” with only half the jets working. Don’t let the Google pictures fool you. Upstairs on the rooftop there are 0 chairs, there aren’t any picnic tables outside (just rusty old ones), and beach lounge chairs that are falling apart.
4.) There are see-through SCREEN DOOR for every unit. I had to use one of the towels to cover up our door so no one can see inside. And there were a few times on the first day where randoms knocked on our door and peeked.
5.) There isn’t management or staff here all night so if something happens to you, best of luck! You can call the number provided but more than likely the voicemail will be full or no answer.
6.) For location, it’s great but there are plenty of better places to say than here. Additionally, the “hotel” is in the midst of doing construction and fixing up the place and they don’t even tell you. Waking up to scrapes against my wall and near my door? Not ideal. Another note, all the rooms are separated by a door, so we could hear out neighbors next to us have a whole conversation through the door crack…
Yeah, I had the time today. Don’t book here and save your money. - someone who was fooled.

This quaint place was quite a pleasure! In general, it was an older crowd, which led to a very quiet environment. The pool area was a great place to relax after a day on the beach. All of the staff were exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. The k
Very old resort, but very clean. Furnishings were good. Location is great. Many restaurants within walking distance. Caters to an older crowd, which was great for us. We will return to this resort in the future.
Tides Inn was, without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed in all my trips to Florida in my 62 years. I was amazed at how beautifully kept this property was. It was absolutely pristine! My room was perfect. The mattress on the beds were like s

As a very big fan of good Italian food (talking about Italian food in Italy) I can say, one of the few restaurants impressed me outside Italy. Very good food. Even in Italy you donât find the choice of food so easy, they serve here. Feels like I am
It is a great beach with a local vibe. It is not very crowded or touristy. There is limited parking which is a plus when you are looking to avoid crowds. It is clean and well maintained.
Shop has plenty to look at , great for beach Go'ers. Owner is super Curtious and helpful! Very nice trinkets for those stopping through town. Got some nice Keychains for the wife and kid!
Everything about this experience was exceptional. Our server Sergio kept our drinks and bellyâs full the entire time. He brought out different small plates to try and each one was absolutely delicious. He was very personable and great at his job.
