The good; Rooms are large and fairly clean. Lobby is large with a large bar. The staff is friendly. High quality mattresses. The bad; this is a loud hotel. There is an animal clinic on one side and for hours you will hear dogs barking. The pillows are smashed, bring your own. The bartender is a little slow. Do to the noise I will not be staying here again.

Hotel is modern with nice rooms, public areas and large outside areas including pool and fire pit. Situated in Agoura Hills near Thousand Oaks with a lot to do locally and short drive to Malibu on the coast. Good collection of food options few minutes drive from hotel including great BBQ at Wood Ranch, nice pizza at Two Doughs Pizza and excellent breakfast / dinner at Sunrose California Eatery. Plenty of shopping opportunities locally also. Friendly staff. Good parking at the hotel for small charge of $10 per night. Nice bar area in hotel with excellent reds. If in the area again would consider staying here. Malibu has a nice beach but not much to see in the actual town. If there visit Adamson House Museum if only to wander around the small gardens and museum, and speak to the very friendly and knowledgeable lady in the gift shop. In Thousand Oaks go visit Gardens of the World - it is pretty small but lovely to wander around or have a quiet sit. The town of Santa Barbara is only an hour away by car from here and it is beautiful and well worth a visit.

I absolutely loved the hotel room, it was very clean, nice and cool, big tv and all the other good amenities. The salt water pool was absolutely incredible and we would have happily stayed another night unplanned if we didn't have to get back home. Loved this place and it was well worth being a 30-40 minutes outside L.A

This was the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in. For a Marriott, it felt more like a motel. Children were screaming in the pool at 10:30 PM, with the noise echoing to all rooms facing the pool. Kids ran up and down the halls at midnight for two consecutive nights. As a parent myself, it felt more like a daycare than a hotel. I couldn’t sleep and ended up checking out at 4:30 AM to find another hotel after the second night. Having traveled to 92 countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels, this was a new low.

Fantastic property at a nice and quiet location. Not sure how old the place is but it’s in excellent condition and very clean. Comfortable beds with some of the best pillows. Jeffery at the front desk is awesome and knows how to treat guests. Highly recommend the property.

Great place to stay but the air conditioning should be addressed. We have stayed at this property atleast 5 times and only half the time does the room get cool or stay cool. This is especially frustrating during the night. No matter what we did, the temp would not go below 70 degrees. Other than that, my only gripe is the half shower doors that allows water to go everywhere. Pros: Staff, Parking, Firepits, Pool, Food/Drink options, Clean, Easy Parking.

Marriott Angora Hills I was absolutely blown away by my experience at this location from the service, amenities and comfort. I travelled with two teens all over northern and Southern California for a two week period. We stayed in a new hotel every night except this location we stayed two nights three days, we stayed in high end Ritz to low-end as Fairfield. Marriott chain is my go to when booking hotels. This Marriott was our favorite even better than Ritz Laguna niguel. Jose at front desk, check in was the most memorable of our two week travels. He went above and beyond and I have stayed at over 1,000 hotels. He left such an impression that I already rebooked for a visit February 2025. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The shower pressure was excellent and the room sizes were decent. I do wish we would have stayed on the Townplace Suites side for the kitchen and free breakfast which I plan to book that for my trip in February. The hotel has a Starbucks cafe and able to make lattes which was a huge plus. The location of the hotel was 10-30 minutes from Malibu beaches which is why we initially booked here - guess what the kids loved the pool and hotel so much we didn’t make it to Malibu beaches. This location is close to everything and such a decent price.

The room is very loud. Whole bunch of crazy teenagers in the pool area. very disrespectful guests. I would give a 0 star if I can. Definitely never come back. Disappointed at Marriott
