Courtyard Temecula Murrieta - Featured Reviews (715)
I stayed here for 2 nights. Very large hotel and not very crowded at the time. It was quiet and had a comfortable bed. The location was great and had a lot of nearby spots for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Met all the basics here…but just a few things I noticed during my stay.
-Bathroom didn’t have working hair dryer
-No lotion provided in bathroom
-Walls in room & bathroom had chipping / needed touch ups
-The exterior window was rather dirty from the outside
This Courtyard is relatively new (as of June 2024) which means updated decor and furniture, clean and in good condition. The location is nice... close to Old Town at a lower cost... I had evaluated multiple hotels in the area for a weekend wedding getaway... the Courtyard was definitely a good choice for the value... comparing the property with others in our group, we made the right choice to get a clean / good hotel for the price. The Bistro is on par with other Courtyards... good food and choices!
The only negative was the front desk staff... as others have reviewed, not friendly or helpful. Did not ruin the experience, but definitely can see how they would contribute to a negative experience for some.
We had a wonderful stay at the Courtyard Temecula/Murrieta. Jenna greeted us and was so pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself seemed well taken care of. Clean. New. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Bathroom was clean as well. One of the nicer hotels I have stayed in the past several years and I have been traveling quite often. As an elite member, they accommodated us with the perks an elite member is entitled to, for example the late check out we needed. Jenna was also helpful when we needed the nearest UPS store or restaurant in Old Town Temecula. We would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area. Great town with lots of restaurants and shops too! 10 out of 5 stars!
In July and August 2024, my daughter's club soccer team participated in a tournament in Temecula, and we stayed at this hotel both times. The location, cleanliness, and staff were all exceptional. I especially want to highlight Jenna, who always greeted us with a smile and provided outstanding assistance, whether it was during check-in, answering questions about the property, or handling check-out. Her dedication to customer service is truly commendable and sets a high standard for others.
In a nutshell this is a relatively newly remodeled hotel that has gotten so busy they are unable to keep up with the maintenance and cleaning. The hotel is next to the 15 freeway which is a major highway so it is busy at all times. As a result it has become dated and dirty.
PROS:
✅ Close to the freeway, but far enough away that it is super quiet
✅ The room size I chose (king suite) is huge, but it isn't fully furnished
✅ Didn't really have any major issues during check-in or accessing the room
CONS:
❌ No mobile check-in
❌ No mobile key
❌ Furniture is so dirty it's stained beyond anything anyone would consider acceptable
❌ The room has major door gaps that may allow someone to break-in
❌ The smell in the room is not pleasant at all
❌ I found several different areas that were not cleaned or vacuumed at all
Pros:|Very helpful and professional staff. The restaurant staff that worked the weekend of May 4-5 were OUTSTANDING! The amount of people they were able to accommodate was super impressive. Even the man working security made sure we were being helped. |Lots of pantry options.|Great breakfast choices.|Nice lobby for dining and socializing.|Rooms are clean and beds are really comfortable. We slept so well!|Parking is a breeze. Great if you need to leave and come often.|The pool area has a fire pit right outside of it. Just perfect for a late evening swim and socializing!! ||Cons:|Gym is bare minimum. Some cardio and free weights.
Appears to be remodeled and rooms refitted so they feel cramped. Roof top bar dirty, piled with junk and locked off from public. Front desk doesn't always answer the phones - they go to music. Smokers and ash trays out back doors make some hallways stink. Love Temecula, but this hotel should be priced at 2.5 Star.
Stayed just one night for a soccer tournament. ||Pros: comfy beds, clean and updated interiors and exterior. Free parking. Nice ladies working the front desk||Cons: no breakfast, triple the regular rate as a tournament was going on that weekend. Not worth the exorbitant price
Had a great experience with Gloria today!
After calling multiple shops in the surrounding area to find a reputable piercer who would do my baby girls earlobe piercings, I came across Gloria at The Scarlett Rose and she gladly helped me with my 3 mont
