Courtyard St. Petersburg Clearwater/Madeira Beach - Hotel in Madeira Beach - 601 American Legion Dr, USA

We stayed only 1 night before moving in to our apartment. View was nice, breakfast delicious (not included, bought separately), service was nice. Parking included. No room service offered, you gotta order the food and pick it up yourself downstairs at the bar/restaurant. Perfectly OK

My first compliment goes to the hotel staff. Especially the front desk manager Brian. Days after my family checked out of the hotel he calls me to let me know his staff found a shirt we left in the room and confirmed my address to mail it back to me at no cost. Brian and his staff could’ve just thrown it out and I would’ve never known. But they took the extra time out to go the extra mile. This may seem small but it shows the dedication the staff has to the customer even after I’ve paid my bill and left. Secondly, it’s a great location. Very convenient. Minutes away from the beach. Great pool with a view of the boats going by. Overall, my family had a great stay at this location.

The friendliest staff I’ve encountered at a hotel. Called 20 minutes after we entered our room to make sure everything was in order. The hotel itself has a pool and hot tub overlooking the sound/bay. The place is very, very clean. The room was a good a size and well laid out. So nice I’m thinking about extending our stay. Also, there is a Publix 700 feet away.

After sharing our experiences (below) with general manager, she graciously addressed our issues. This is a very nice horel. The main level has a beautiful view and a bistro. We stayed at this Courtyard twice this week. ON 8/17/2024 we were woken up at 5 AM by the person next door blasting the TV. ON 8/21/2024 the AC kept shutting off making the room hot and stuffy. On top of that the mattress squeaked so much I barelt slept. The front desk said they were sorry and only took off the parking fee. Maybe some bonus points would have been better?

Beautiful location and very nice. Clean comfy. Pool area very nice. Fire pit. Lovely views. Even the partial view balcony was a delight. All well maintained. Did have a bit of a frustrating series of management/ housekeeping issues on the last day. Manager talked with me and promised to address.

This hotel offered everything we could possibly need and exceeded our expectations. We choose this hotel for our honeymoon and there are no regrets. The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. The room was impeccable and the location (waterfront) offered the ambiance one could only wish for. We can not wait to return and experience the same feeling we left with (happy, relaxed and optimistic that other hotels will follow suit). Thank you for such a wonderful experience and enhancing our memories!

Absolutely love this underrated hotel! We’ve been coming to this location for 9 years. The staff is some of the best you’ll find. The location is often overlooked due to it not being on the beach, but the waterfront location with an amazing pool makes for a great setting. Most rooms come with a balcony and great view of the water. |It’s within walking distance to many restaurants and bars along with Publix. The walk to the beach is exactly a mile, so completely doable as well make the morning walk a couple times per trip. |Every year we look forward to coming back to this hotel due to its staff and location! ||See you next year!
