Courtyard St. Louis Airport/Earth City - Hotel in Hazelwood - 3101 Rider Trail S, USA

We rented room 307 for a concert at the amphitheater. The room was decent but the mattress was extremely worn. The bathroom sink would not drain, in the commode would make a strange howling noise about a minute and a half after its flushed. I went to the little restaurant to get some breakfast and they were out of most of the items. The nice lady behind the counter really tried to work with what she had. However, to me, it looked frustrating.

100% stress free. got there a bit before my room was ready, but they were great about that. for being that close to I-70, it was extremely quiet and peaceful. temporary road construction not far away, but it's unlikely most folks would be coming that way. not too much to see and do right there, but lots within 1-2 exits up and down I-70 / I-270 and not far from multiple concert venues.

How this hotel gets anything more than a 3-star on any platform is beyond me… Allergy sufferers and delicate senses of smell beware. The entire hotel smelled like marijuana, stale cigarette smoke, and musty carpets. Carpets/walls throughout the hotel look like they could’ve used a good cleaning about 10 years ago. The area around the hotel is a dump… and I don’t mean a bad area, I mean a literal landfill. If you get lucky enough, the entire area will smell like a mix of methane and rotten garbage. It’s made worse by the fact that your individual AC unit pulls air from the outside so your entire room smells like it too. If you can survive the assault to your senses, the lobby and rooms look like they were more recently renovated. The room was no more than a place to lay our head for the night but cleanliness was subpar.

I only had a quick stay, but this hotel is great for a one-two night sleep. Positives: AC is great, bed is comfortable, pillows are decent, and fantastic shower pressure. Also clean. I also like how the hotel is tucked away so it feels safe and quiet. Only negatives are that the layout of the room is a little odd and kind of cramped and the hallways are a bit dark so gives it a dated feel. Not a dealbreaker for me though, nice hotel.

Great hotel for a quick overnight stay. Was in town for the full day and needed a place to stay overnight. Very clean, staff very friendly. On site bar along with fitness center and indoor pool. Can't go wrong for the price, would stay again.

The only reason I gave it a two out of five is because it has a nice lobby and outdoor patio area. The rest is very dated, the rugs are stained. The room did not get serviced for 2 days even though we asked for it. When they did, it was not done very well. The AC started to leak left a big puddle on the carpet. They dry vacuumed it but I know it has happened in other rooms since we had friends staying there too. Would have checked out the first day, except hotels were booked in the area due to a concert and some tournaments.

If I could give a -5, yes, a minus 5 I would. Horrible place, old. Unkempt, dirty, poor service. Not at all what a Marriott should be. No real restaurant, no working phine in room. I tried to call frony desk about the dirty room. The phone would not work. I pull up the cord to find that it wasn't plugged in, because there was no jack. Hope they refund us our money, and give us a free stay somewhere else., because there's a lot more to this nightmare story ...

Did not enjoy this stay. While the front staff was friendly, the rooms are very musty and dated. We stayed for 2 nights and there was no housekeeping service. We changed rooms because the first room we were in left an “itchy” feeling on our skin once we were in the bed. The room we were moved into smelled of smoke. The coffee barista in the morning was rude when trying to purchase a beverage. Location being close to airport was convenient.
