Courtyard Shreveport-Bossier City/Louisiana Boardwalk - Hotel in Bossier City - 100 Boardwalk Blvd, USA

I stayed in #151 and the shower temperature does not reach a “hot” temperature. I think it maxes out around 70 degrees. Plumber needs to adjust. Also, the toilet in the room runs constantly. I didn’t see anything wrong with the flap so likely something else needs adjustment. Lastly, the construction next door starts at 6:30am and the noise echoes in the courtyard/pool area. This would be helpful to tell guests on the website or upon check-in if they are staying on the courtyard side. The hammering of nails at 6:30am wasn’t pleasant. Have a look at how close the construction is to the inner courtyard which echoes to all the interior view rooms. The beds were comfortable and the lobby was welcoming. The fitness center didn't have any water and 1 of the 2 elliptical machines was broken. I emailed the GM, Rob Brown, but he has not yet emailed me back.

Stopped here for a quick rest on a road trip. I have never encountered a nicer staff at a hotel. Cecilia at check in recommended Saltgrass for dinner and provided a coupon. She introduced us to the other folks working and offered any assistance. In the morning the associate making coffees was a happy face to see so early. Housekeeping was considerate and does an excellent job - really clean room and bathroom. Well done Courtyard team you are STARS!!!

I booked a room with a king bed for one night. When I arrived, I was put in a room with two double beds. I asked the front desk attendant why this was. She told me they had "upgraded" me because the room was next to the pool (I do not enjoy being next to a noisy pool). I could not get a king bed room because they were overbooked. I was not told of this "upgrade" before arriving. Wish they would have notified me before

I loved the location but the front desk staff was nicety (nasty nice) meaning they would say rude things with a nice tone. The river view from the room was great. The housekeeping staff was incredibly attentive and did a fantastic job keeping the rooms clean. Unfortunately, the front desk staff, while polite, weren't always as friendly or helpful as I would have liked. Their interactions sometimes felt a little insincere.

To be honest very underwhelming the staff was very nice but i was told a room with a river view they put me in 234 which means i watch turbines spin instead of the river. More than likely wont be back to thos location the residence inn next door is marriot also and much nicer all around. The staff was great but the rooms were dingy and dusty plus the no view kinda ruined it. Also couldnt get the ac to turn down

I spent my last night here 6/22/24 , this use to be a friendly place and comfortable beds But a lot has changed , I made my reservation requested ground floor the lady on the phone from the hotel said no problem great I set it up , when i arrived that evening very tired around 5:30 I told the young lady I had a reservation gave her my name she acted like she couldn’t find me in the system , she told me they didn’t have any rooms available on the first floor , and it’s only a request they do not have to accommodate me on that floor , she told me this 3 or 4 times and every time her tone got a little louder another lady came out and ask if she could assist me , I explained to her of my reservation and I was told there was a ground floor available that women told me the same telling me the ground floor is just a request , I finally decided to take the second floor when I handed my card to the young lady she snatched the card from my hand abruptly I found my email of my confirmation # to my reservation and showed it to her but she was not interested in seeing it .. and on top of all that my bed was bumpy it was a very old mattress ..the air conditioner was not working in the room to hot I couldn’t rest at all and then at check out NO WORD AT ALL ABOUT HOW WAS YOUR STAY and the parking is horrible , YOU HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE PEOPLE I ENCOUNTERED VERY VERY RUDE AS A LONG TIME CUSTOMER AND MARRIOTT MEMBER I CANT BELIEVE THE BAD Quality your putting out … It looks like all the business on the board walk has gone and I have to say I want be back there … 👎🏻

Rooms were clean. Pool clean. Bartender/coffee batista very friendly and professional. We Chose it mostly so we could sit in the hot tub. While the kids swim but the hot tub is closed for repairs. I'm judging by the amount of pond scum It's been a while

It was a good hotel to stay for a night while I was in town. I was able to check in early, which was super awesome and the hotel staff who checked me in was very friendly. My room seems a little outdated but there was nothing wrong with it and it was clean. The only thing I did not like was the lighting in the bathroom as it was a very yellow light. The location was pretty good too as I was able to walk to the restaurants on the Boardwalk.
