This Courtyard location is very convenient. It is right off the highway. There are plenty of shopping and dining options within walking distance. The lobby is very welcoming with a nice bistro. The employees are all very friendly. The room was very clean as well as the fitness center. The fitness center had cardio and strength building options. The area around the hotel felt very safe.

If you need a hotel in Federal Way stay here, if you don’t care about location staying further away definitely do it. There are far better Marriotts in other cities nearby. The hotel is right off the interstate which has its benefits but the area is sketchy especially the parking lot with no security. The staff were excellent and the main lobby is modern/updated. The rooms on the other hand, clean but need to be renovated with the bathroom being the main priority.

I traveled here from Oregon ( short trip I know) for my mom's funeral yesterday, arriving the day before and checking out day after in just about 2 hours. The entire staff here has been amazing and very accommodating. I had completely forgotten that I use a fan every night to sleep and at around midnight I took a chance and asked if they might have one I could use. 2 minutes later maintenance brings me a fan for the bedside table. Breakfast was really good with plenty to choose from. It's bistro style so don't expect to make your own waffle. Lol. I highly recommend the avocado toast! I had a bunch of family in and out to visit both before and after the service and they greeted everyone with a smile. In fact, I have some flowers I need to transport home on the train today and they promptly grabbed me some wet paper towels,, saran wrap and rubber band. Romma are spacious ( I double queen) with a beautiful 8th floor view of Mt. Rainier. The hotel was definitely a bright side to a very sad trip and I really want to thank the entire staff. Room was clean, it's quite and the both heat and AC came in handy. Lol. Anyway, time go go back home but I'll definitely be staying here again when I come back to visit family.

We rented a room for $250 a night for one night and went to a concert when we got back and started to climb into bed. The hidabed had BLOOD on the sheets. We notified the front desk and the gentleman said that our room would be comped for the evening, and then that they would bring new bedding up. The new bedding didn't come till 2 AM. My friend's daughter had to sleep with her, and they did not put the new bedding on the bed. The next morning I was contacted by front desk and I was told the room will not be comped, and that I would only get half price. I didn't find that acceptable, but the lady at the front desk was very matter of fact and I wasn't going to argue with somebody who should be providing excellent customer service for an establishment of this stature. Needless to say I will not stay at this Marriott, again. Check your room before ahead of time. Just to make sure it is clean. Blood is about the most disgusting thing you can find, but they didn't seem to see it that way. So the hotel does not back up what their employees say or promise.

When I arrived, the internet was down and it took two hours to get connected. One of those hours had to be spent on the phone holding for and then speaking with a call center representative who manually connected my IP address to the wifi in order to bypass the sign-in page that would never load. There was a stressful misunderstanding when I initially spoke to the manager about this but she went above and beyond to make it right after my stay. The facilities are spotless and well-equipped, above average for a mid-range chain hotel. I appreciated having a microwave in the room and a little sofa with a footrest.

Rooms were nice, employees / staff were nice as well. The reason for the 3 star review is the hot tub, pool & breakfast. We have 2 kids, and specifically looked for a hotel with a hot tub & pool. The hot tub was lukewarm, the jets didn’t work and the water was dirty. The pool looked “ok” but was pretty cold. There is no free breakfast as well, just pretty expensive order options. $64.00 for JUST French toast for 4 people. For $224 a night, I would expect a little better.

It's just OK. If your hotel is off a highway off ramp, in a strip mall FULL of parking, I view it as a cash grab to charge for parking. If you are thinking the money is for parking lot security read the other reviews, if you leave anything in your car a window will be broken and it will be gone, no security or cameras. My room was clean but BOTH sinks had issues with the stopper and could only be operated by reaching under the sink to the lower lever. I would stay here again as it is better than staying by the airport where the price is higher and there are no food options nearby.

Have stayed on multiple occasions for work. Never had issues with break ins for the car. Rooms are always clean, the hotel is quiet, there's a sense of security with the elevators, and having to use the key card. My only complaint is only having one server at the restart at breakfast time. When there are more than a handful of people, it will take 20 minutes just to get the register to order a coffee. There really should be a 2nd perfusion in the front to help prepare coffee/bagels and one for the register with as many people that stay for business it would be more efficient. That and I feel as if the prices are more than most marriott restaurants
