Courtyard Saratoga Springs - Hotel in Saratoga Springs - 11 Excelsior Ave, USA

Really nice stay at the Courtyard Saratoga. The hotel is newer, clean and modern. We had a king bed and a pullout sofa which was fine as far as sofa beds go. Room was on the small side but we didn’t spend much time in it. Not all the king rooms have sofa beds so double check if you want one. ||Lobby was nice and we enjoyed a good breakfast in the restaurant both days. We didn’t use the indoor pool. Parking was easy. There are 6 or so EV spots. ||The hotel is not in the center of town but very close and an easy walk. It is in a quiet spot just on the edge of town by the Olde Bryan Inn (which we thoroughly enjoyed as well). I’d definitely stay here again.

Updated MCY with good location to downtown. Was there on business during week and they are understaffed. The front desk was helpful but they need more help! There is plenty of parking and a trolley. Did not use amenities on grounds but outdoor veranda looked inviting

A really nice hotel in a great location for the centre of Saratoga. The hotel was being done up when we stayed, so I think it will improve even further as it goes on!||We enjoyed our stay and our room and the hotel has lots of facilities, like a pool, café and restaurant.

This hotel is under major construction. -All this week no water from 9-5pm. -Construction starts at 7 AM And is non stop hammering and drilling! -The elevator is not available when Contruction is starting their day. -No hot food meaning breakfast - Had no heat in my room - Can't call the front desk, the phone doesn't work in the newly renovated suite The kicker is I put up with all this ALL week and asked for a late check out 1 day because of the snow storm, and got an attitude from the desk. After all this, all week. I cancelled next weeks reservation already! P.s. the ladies on the night shift are lovely and sweet!

Staff were very polite and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Huge crack in shower, TV didn't work and no remote control. They were doing construction on the upper level which interrupted my sleeping at 730am.

Great location in Saratoga. Construction in progress, but the real issue was the room housekeeping. No services at all during the stay, and when requested they still didn't get completed. I was highly disappointed in this hotel.

We were booked for one night only. Good thing! We received an upgrade to a one bedroom at checkin. We dropped our bags and went out for the evening. Location is very convenient. The staff is very helpful. All good. |However, when we returned to the room later that night we discovered the room is very much in need of updating. The rug is worn, stained and torn. The couch and chair were in need of replacement or at least a good cleaning. We only sat on it after placing the spare sheet over it. Worst and really unacceptable was the black mold on the tub/floor caulk. |We have been loyal Marriott people for 25 years. This is the latest of several Marriotts in the last few years where we have experienced a deterioration of “Marriott standards”. |No wonder the Saratoga Courtyard is only rated 22nd of the local hotels. ||Paul Donovan

I am surprised by how negative the three most recent reviews are, as my experience was much more pleasant. The front staff was attentive - it appeared as though they were onboarding a new staff member, but they were always supported by a more experienced staff member; the rooms and hallways were clean and well-cared for; and the lobby was in good shape. There were certainly elements of the room, the bathrooms, and the hotel that felt in need of a refresh - and (as I understand it) that is taking place now, as the hotel is going over a floor by floor renovation.||Unbeknownst to me, I believe the 4th and 5th floors were being renovated, as I stayed on one of the first three floors - but there was never any signs of that between the 9pm and the 8am window that I was present.||All in all, I have found - and continue to find - this hotel to be a great launching point to the wonderful town of Saratoga Springs. It is definitely walkable to downtown - though maybe on the far end of what some would consider walkable - and I look forward to staying there again and seeing the improvements upon their completion.
