Great location a short walk to all the shops and restaurants on State Street. Lovely common areas. It looks like they converted an old motel into something clean and current. Pool and hot tub are great, lounge chairs comfy. Pool side bar is always fun. Our room was really big, as was the bathroom. Bed was super comfy. There's a coffee maker and mini fridge in the room. Friendly staff. recommend.

This hotel is a great location close to downtown restaurants and wine tasting rooms (a few blocks or so). The premise is nice, the beds are comfortable. They have a pool and jacuzzi which I appreciated! We stayed for a short girls trip and I want to shout out Eric who we super friendly and helpful. He was so accommodating with our random requests and helped us out a ton. So thanks, Eric! This hotel is too far to walk to the beach but it’s a quick Uber ride or you can walk a few blocks and catch the waterfront shuttle that comes by like every 30min. I would definitely stay here again!

We were generally happy here. The entrance and pool were very nice as were all of the employees. Our room was larger than most but a little oddly furnished. We also had to squeeze past a service cart almost every time we went to our room. In spite of these small complaints, it served our needs well and we were comfortable and safe. Parking was $30 a night in very tight spaces, but at least we could always find a place.

Super pleased with this hotel. Good service from start to finish. Huge, modern, clean room with good coffee/tea service, lighting, HVAC, TV/Internet, and strong housekeeping. Aside from the convenient location of this hotel if you want to get to downtown SB (State Street pedestrian area), there is usually decent parking (though spaces are very tight), the pool is a nice treat. Would recommend not facing the pool or State Street if you are a light sleeper.

My husband and I have stayed at this property multiple times since it has opened. We are impressed every time with the rooms, food and friendly employees. It is clean and well kept property. Eric the hospitality agent is a “can do” man and went out of his way to make our stay special. He is very detailed, professional and all class. Stayed one night while we were attending a concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl. |Location is a few blocks away from the heart of State Street with lots of restaurants and shopping. CVS is not too far away in case you forgot some essentials.|Restaurant and bar is located in center courtyard, open to the pool area. Good drinks and nice selection of local beers. |Rooms are clean. Staff was super friendly. There was plenty of garage parking during our stay.

The room was at the quiet end of the hotel as we requested, and was very comfortable with a lovely shower. We had to extend our stay by 2 extra days because of a medical emergency and between the night (Ray) and day (Eric) managers, they were able to accommodate us in the same room. Big shout-out for their service and helpfulness. We travel nationally and internationally and the friendly service that we received from all the staff, from Mike and the staff at the front desk to room services, is to be commended. Good staff makes all the difference. One caution to be aware of: do not consume the bottles of water left in the room. The cost of these are extremely high. I did not see the price printed on the bottle holders so that's my fault. We'll be returning in a few days for a one night stay before flying home.

I am an event planner for a Santa Barbara based company, where we hold our annual kickoff. This is my second year having our event at The Courtyard SB Downtown and I have to say how much I LOVE working with this hotel! |To start, it's an absolutely beautiful property in a great location just steps from downtown SB and it doesn't look ANYTHING like your typical Courtyard property. It looks like it belongs in Palm Springs :) The restaurant / bar is super cute and the menu is delicious!|Second, and most importantly, the staff! I've worked with Jacki Dawson the past two years on my event and she is such a pro, however, this was my first time working with Jessica Perez and she is an absolute dream to work with. She is professional, she gets things done quickly and so well organized. Then you have their fabulous front desk and restaurant staff. EVERYONE was so amazing to my attendees and really made our stay so enjoyable. Santa Barbara is not an easy location to plan a corporate event, but this team REALLY made my life easier. We can't wait to be back in 2025!!! :)
