Courtyard San Francisco Airport - Featured Reviews (900)
I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. From the women checking me in to the nice man behind the bar to the ladies cleaning the rooms. I everything was great. The hotel was very clean and obviously has a great location to the airport. The shuttle to and from is easy to use just let the staff know what time you want to leave and they make it happen. Easy hotel stay and will stay again when I am back in the area.
The staff was friendly and efficient. I don’t know his name, but I want to specifically compliment the cook who brought my food out on Saturday night 6/22 - he was incredibly friendly and after a long day of travel that was appreciated.||I had a suite and appreciated the large bedroom and the sliding doors to a small porch off the living area. The bed was comfortable and the setting was surprisingly serene and quiet for a hotel near the airport. A couple of positives- the air conditioning worked well, which is often not the case in hotels, also the mini fridge got drinks very cold, also pretty rare in hotels.||The biggest negative in the room was the bathroom that felt very small and cramped. Huge bedroom, very large living area and tiny bathroom ||The things holding me back from a 5 rating are|- I personally found the directions to find the shuttle at the airport to be confusing. Maybe it’s on my, but by simply adding the phrase “go upstairs after collecting your bags” it would have saved me a lot of steps and wasted time. Also, when I did get to the hotel shuttle area and called shortly after another shuttle that just said Courtyard on the side pulled up and I started to get on that one until I verified the address - it was a different Courtyard. |- While I was searching for the hotel shuttle on the wrong level, I tried calling the hotel twice and went through the menu, selecting the option to talk to a live person (I think it’s option 3). Both times it did 4 rings then a fast busy. At that point I was really frustrated. Eventually I talked to a live person by pressing zero|- I appreciated the fact that they gave me 4 PM late checkout since I had a late evening flight out of SFO. However, I did not appreciate that the Housekeeper knocked on my door twice that morning, once just barging in. Plus, they need to teach the housekeeping staff how to knock appropriately - they were making very short repeated light taps - I can’t really explain it but given that it was a suite and I was in the other room, the first time I was trying to figure out what the sound was when she entered. Sounded like maybe lightly tapping quickly with a keycard. ||Overall, the friendly helpful staff made up for the issues.
Very friendly staff and convenient location both relative to the airport and to “Biotech City” in South San Francisco. I got a huge room, more like a suite, but there was a slight strange smell lingering in it. The hallways were long and it took a while to find my room from the front desk. I later found a nice shortcut through the courtyard. The gym is quite small with limited equipment, but despite the size of the hotel I had it to myself at 10pm Overall a pleasant, albeit short stay. I will be back soon.
Decent hotel and wonderful staff but the rooms had some issues. When we checked in, we were unexpectedly upgraded to a suite. It was a nice thought and the room was spacious and clean. However, there was no room safe (which seems pretty standard for most hotels these days) and the room smelled strongly of weed. We ended up having to switch rooms because the bottom lock was broken and wouldn't lock. The room switch was easy enough, the front desk staff was very accommodating and fast acting. We were moved to a first floor room which was equally clean and thankfully didn't smell of weed. But the room had a slider that opens directly to the parking lot and, again, the door lock on the main room door was broken. We found out we couldn't get out of our room in the morning. A maintenance person came right away to let us out and we checked out shortly after that. The bistro that they have in the lobby was essentially just a coffee stand. We did order dinner there but it was very expensive for average quality food. Again, though, the staff was exceptional. So to sum up, the staff was great, the location was close to the airport with free shuttle service, the outside courtyard was nice, but this hotel does need an upgrade. Many rooms are quite a distance from the elevators and there were repeated issues with the room locks. Safety feels like an issue if you're staying on the ground floor (if that's a concern for you). Decent stay but I probably would choose another hotel if I were to stay in San Fransisco again.
This was one of the nicest-looking hotels we stayed on our 10-day trip to California. We actually ate dinner outside our room attached to the courtyard. The room was clean; in fact there was a letter on our table notifying us that carpet cleaning was happening and that the staff would move our things off of the floor when they come to do our room. We were a bit worried they were going to come in our room while we were out, or try to come in while we were there, but neither of those happened. I did hear two jet airliners go overhead in the middle of the night, so if noise bothers you, bring earplugs and/or use white noise. You are near-ish the airport, so expect some noise.
No coffee at the lobby. Only one cup to make in the room. Close to the airport but you can hear every flight landing and take off. It was very loud. We stayed on the first floor with kids running around making noise. Room is just ok. Bed is on the soft side, AC is loud. The only nice thing I could say is their airport pick up and drop off was done by a small shuttle and done with great efficiency. Drivers are helpful and polite.
Booked online and was able to get AAA discount. What I did not know is that this place charges for breakfast and is more of a package and found out when I showed up for it. On their site says breakfast included. Also another shocker, parking was automatically charged without being told its additional. For the amount I paid for the booking, breakfast and parking could of stayed at the Hyatt or Hilton that is a 4 star hotel and have a view of the bay and SFO. Also room had a pass thru and the other people tried to pick in my room at 1am god thing it was locked. Room was clean and breakfast was great, but the sneaky way to upcharge is not fair and should be clearly disclosed!
The San Bruno Courtyard was a great place to stay near the San Francisco Airport SFO. Really nice rooms, staff and food. It also has a very pretty courtyard area you should not miss.
I loved this spot. Wasnât super familiar with the area and couldnât tell from Google Street View etc if it was a seedy area or not. I would say itâs right on the edge but that didnât affect my stay whatsoever. The hotel is a tad dated but ha
Iâd give this place more than 5 stars if I could. I realized 4 star hotels with not even a microwave is such a rip off. Everything at this place is so perfect. Clean room, comfortable beds, nice staff, everything is just absolutely great. Breakfast
Arrived by car 30 minutes before closing. We had a parking spot right in front of the taco truck on the street. I found this place searching Google seafood restaurants near me! It was to my surprise that it was a taco truck! No worries, we ordered th
First time for my wife and I finding this Restaurant and I must say it is very good luck for us! We will return when we can often. Their Mediterranean cuisine is well presented and extremely delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed their Beef/Lamb Kabob (Koft
Our final meal in California and my cousin sister suggested Taqueria Mi Durango. So glad we tried this place. Each regular taco costs about $4 to 5. The Al Pastor and Fried Fish tacos are phenomenal and must order. Super highly recommended.
