Fresh, clean, quiet rooms. Friendly check-in. Nice bistro area and outdoor area at the pool with a fire pit and a hot tub.
Quiet location since it's off the beaten path a bit with the sister property, Residence Inn, adjacent. There currently is nothing but corporate businesses in this area. You only have 4-5 dining options, various cuisine/vibe, within walking distance around the corner on a mini retail strip.... And that's all there is in this area.
The Courtyard by Marriott was great, we stayed about 4 days. The service was great, the room was great and clean. The atmosphere was great, the Courtyard by Marriott had only one drawback and that it had only on restaurant that served sold breakfast and dinner on the premises. The good thing is that in this area you had several places to choose from to eat that was great with a short ride from the Hotel. Other than that I would highly recommend this Marriott.
Stayed a couple days in San Diego on a golf trip. Location was fairly central to the area we wanted to be in. Rooms were clean and the staff were super friendly. Didn't get to try the restaurant at the hotel though. Hotel has plenty of parking, swimming pool, and gym. Would definitely stay here again as the price wasn't bad either
Horrible service. I made the reservations online and used my bonvoy visa. Due to another event, I was unable to check in so I called customer support a few days before I check in date and told me not a problem and added my husband's name to the reservation. They also emailed me an authorization form so my card/payment staus on file and gets charged for this trip. I completed the form as called the oceanside location as instructed only to be told they would not honor the request at their particular location. The lady was dismissive and unkind. I hung up. I called again Saturday midday the day of our check in to make sure my husband has no hiccups during the check in process and because i did not see the room upgrade/chsnge on the marriott bonvoy app. I spoke to a lady by the name of Levenia (sp). I explained my siruation to her but she was short, rude and dismissive saying my name was added as an additional guest and that she could see the upgraded room on her end and immediately added is THERE anything else I can help with... I couldn't even finish saying no, the call had already ended. We have stayed at multiple Marriott/Ritz locations but have never experienced such unprofessionalism and inconsistent answers from employees. I will modify my review based on what's coming our way during our stay and check in process.
Although the exterior of this hotel doesn’t make it seem inviting, the Courtyard Marriott in Oceanside has a pleasant and modern feel to it. We heard loud stomping in the room above us when we were trying to sleep, staff didn’t do much. Overall pretty good.
In the last 12 years, I have stayed over 1000 nights in Marriotts around the world. Marriotts across 40 countries. I maintain Titanium or Ambassador (I had 135 nights last year).
My work is with Critical Infrastructure (power, water, wastewater, natural gas, etc) and I have a very dynamic schedule.
I am currently staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Oceanside CA. I needed to check out this morning for some work in San Diego this afternoon. I was asked if I bought travel insurance. I stated no. I am told I will be charged an Early Check Out Fee of one night stay. I told them then I am not checking out (even though I won't be driving back up here).
I can understand a fee if the hotel is 100% booked (it is not) or if I told then after 12pm.
I guess this was implemented last July. However, this is the first time I am betting charged. Have others had this issue? Was I just lucky all the early checkouts before? Seems like loyalty is not a thing anymore with Marriott.
So many awesome customer experiences with Marriott. But this one will be removed from my company's list (folks could be staying here 2 to 8 weeks at a time) and from mine as well. Lucky that is a very short list.
Nice hotel located in an area that they are developing. There are restaurants right by hotel and some a little past the hotel. If you stay in a room facing the front of the hotel, you will hear the traffic that starts at 5am. Room got cleaned daily. Overall it's an ok hotel.
Room extremely noisy because of the huge road in front of the hotel. Beds were good. The food in the bar is disgusting. I definitely will not stay here a second time.
I have stayed at this place two separate times, and both experiences were wonderful. My most recent stay was in the two story room, it was beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The beds are all very comfortable, the kitchen space was great, there was
We stayed here for about a month while an insurance claim was being taken care of. We loved the staff and got to know them well. Beds were comfy, rooms were spacious and we loved to firepit and pool areas. We stayed in room 123 which I would advise a
Wish they had a room with a hot tub available I would have paid extra. Other than that it was great. Good pricing. Clean rooms. Hot water. Thereâs food down there in the am to purchase. The bottle water is $7 a piece though so bring some before you
Ever since my son joined this academy I noticed he is very enthusiastic to train in jiu-jitsu. Iâm confident Noah will gain good discipline and self defense from the leadership of Professor Doug and Professor Christina, as well as his coaches, Phil
Oh, you want authentic? Yeah, this place is it! Tia (aunt) makes all the food from scratch the RIGHT way. Nothing is rushed. The meat is so crazy tender it will make you sad when you get home and realize your canât do it the same way. The Birria is
Awesome place to learn a variety of martial arts!! Boxing? They got you! Kick boxing? They got you! MMA? They got you! BJJ (no-gi & gi)? You best believe they got you!

Fantastic beer tasting room. They have 20 plus beers on tap and dozens more in bottle. A real locals hang where the crowd is relaxed and conversation is lively. Located right off the 76 across from the Oceanside airport. Parking is a bit limited.
Iâm so happy my husband found this place. He was raving about it for months and finally convinced me to check it out. So glad I did. Everyone is so welcoming and theyâre family friendly. Great teachers, community, and amenities as well as great p
