While this hotel is in a great location and has gone thru a complete refurbishment there are some issues. This is the second time we stayed at this hotel in the past six months and both times the air conditioner did not work. We were given a room at the back of the hotel near the train tracks. Noise level for these rooms were not good. For compensation, one bottle of water. Being a gold member you would think they would do better.

place is really great. beautiful area, seems safe to me! Fitness Center was great, very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Asked the front desk for a cup of hot water at 5:50 in the morning, they gave it to me free of charge and with a smile on their face! Lobby was spacious with a lot of seating and tables. Slept on the sofa bed…surprisingly very comfortable! Super quiet and peaceful at night. The free fruit water was really good. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautifully renovated hotel with spacious rooms and nice staff. I got a nice balcony with my room and the fruit water in the lobby was refreshing. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Area was very quiet. I especially liked having a couch in the room. Would definitely return if I needed to stay in Rye.

Marriott keeps letting me down. Got to the hotel realizing I forgot my work ID. I showed the night audit person my insurance card, business card, explained that I was a platinum elite, and even called Marriott reservations and they all told me that if I didn’t have my work ID or work credit card, then they will have to charge me the regular rate. Instead of trying to take care of me or being nice about the situation, the night audit person was rude and made me lose it (in which I apologized for - but still!). The night audit person kept telling me that “this is a corporate owned hotel and they follow the rules here.” And basically if I didn’t like that, she would be happy to cancel my reservation and we could find another place to stay. The next day I found a picture of my work ID on my phone and showed it to the front desk person (another lady) and she too denied my corporate rate. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that made me feel so uncomfortable and embarrassed. Because I upset the night audit person, she gave us a bad room. As you can see from the pictures, the towels were dirty and there was construction going on in the room. On a side note, the remodel of this hotel came out nice. Clean and modern furnishing. At checkout the operations manager checked me out and asked about my stay. I didn’t bring any of this up because I just wanted to get out of the hotel. Sad to say, this experience is making me rethink my brand loyalty. And I will definitely not come back to this hotel. In the end I paid for an overpriced and not enjoyable stay. I even had to sacrifice some of my points to cover this unexpected cost of this uncomfortable and unwelcoming stay.

My wife and I live locally and have stayed at this Marriott a few times. Because it was conveniently located, we decided to use it for our wedding block last month. As soon as the wedding guests arrived, there were multiple issues with the front desk figuring out their reservations. While there were a few issues that occurred, the largest theme was that one of the front desk attendants, Tina, was rude and incredibly hard to deal with. After hearing from a few of our guests that they had issues with her, my wife and I got to interact with her ourselves. Since it was our wedding night, we had called ahead and let the desk know that we would be checking in late (at 2AM). The aggressive and horrific attitude that Tina had from the moment we arrived has made it so that we will never be staying at this Marriott location again. I have never interacted with someone as rude and aggressive as her, and she is supposedly in the hospitality industry. I do not recommend using this location for your wedding block, or even staying there at all until someone looks into the actions/attitudes of the current staff. The only positive thing I can say is that the woman who checked us out, Pattie (I believe her name was), was an absolute angel and should be everything that the other workers should strive to be.

Beds are VERY comfortable, slept better than I have in weeks. Lobby is EXTREMELY hot, like a sauna. Probably good for health but all I could think was “Dante would add a tenth”

I am a frequent customer of this hotel as I travel here often for work. I am always very pleased with the service I receive here from every single member of the team. I specifically wanted to give recognition to both Eli and Tina as they go above and beyond to make my stay simple and enjoyable with my chaotic schedule and needs. Often I will come downstairs between 530-6AM and Tina will go out of her way to make a cup of coffee for me so I am ready for the day at work ahead. When I check in, Eli often greets me with a smile and tries to always accommodate my requests for specific rooms as he knows I prefer to stay on the side of the hotel closer to the gym. These little rememberings make stressful work trips simple and effortless for me. The hotel has been recently renovated and the Bistro is convenient and clean. The coffee is great as well as any of the cocktails. The gym has also been recently renovated and has all new equipment and a peloton bike with bright natural light to help start your day (if you’re an avid Pelotoner like myself, this is super convenient!). The beds are all super comfortable, which I cannot say is the case with every hotel I have stayed at. Thank you for continuing to make my work visits positive and providing me with a second home! Looking forward to more visits in 2024.

Loubens who was working at breakfast was so helpful and made sure my breakfast was all set and delicious before my work meeting. He took the time to make sure we were all happy before we left for work making sure the breakfast was perfect. Bonvoy needs more people like Loubens working at their properties.

Beautiful place to hike around and just chill out at. I don’t have pictures for it but the trail has many benches and is pretty easy to access. Pretty much always kept clean, with the occasional late-nighters and teenagers doing what they do. Other

We attended a wedding here and had a wonderful time. The venue is loud with little sound absorption, but the service was excellent and the food was good. What a wonderful place for pictures with long Island sound in the background
