We reserved a hotel block with the Courtyard for our wedding at The Mansion. We also tried to reserve at a few other hotels nearby for our guests so they could have options. I can honestly say that the Courtyard was THE BEST, and put their competitors to shame. Jackie was so incredibly helpful. She sent me regular emails with our list of guests without my asking. I'm still waiting on the lists of guests from the 2 other nearby hotels, no one ever got back to me despite multiple calls and emails, they were unresponsive. The Courtyard, on the other hand, was super responsive. They got back to me right away, took great care of our guests, coordinated our shuttle to the venue, and was all around wonderful. I'm very grateful.
I always try to get the one whirlpool room they have when I stay here. It is usually available. It’s a great way to relax after a long day. The bathroom is large and accommodating as well as the room itself. The staff was very friendly and got me taken care of right away and was able to accommodate my requests with no issues.
Positive: "" Negative: 168 room no: Bathroom was not clean. Broken curtain was hiden. Room was replaced with another room. New room 347 had toilet making noise every 10-15 min. Since no other room available has to stay there for two nights. Never going back.
My husband and I agree 3-star hotel (max). It's clean, friendly & in a good location. However, we've stayed at numerous Marriott properties & never again will we book a Courtyard. Including this one most are worn, dated and you cannot relax in bed to watch TV because it's illogically placed off to the side of the room / bed. Despite being on a swivel, you have to turn your entire body. We happen to enjoy watching Netflix etc before sleeping but this makes it nearly impossible to do without being uncomfortable. And speaking of uncomfortable, the mattresses at the Courtyards have been very stiff & uncomfortable. The Residence Inns work better for us for both of these reasons.
Hotel and room were clean. House keeping is done based on ur need or request, so confirm ur choice at the reception during check-in.
Breakfast cannot be included in the room deal. There is not much choice at the Cafe as well. The people in the Cafe seem very disinterested in taking your order. We had asked if we could collect the food and take it to the room and they said no. While we were eating at the table after a long day, we saw several guests do take away and were gleefully provided disposable cutlery for their meal. Also, the coffee at the location could be better.
While hotel is clean enough (though showing it’s age, especially in the bathrooms) there are a few turnoffs if you spend a lot of time in hotels. Cleaning is upon request only and they don’t tell you. You just wonder why your room hasn’t been cleaned and your trash is over flowing. You try to call the front desk. You dial 0 on the room phone and find that the hotel phones done work. You call the number on your cell phone to ask the front desk about cleaning and the ‘hold the line for the front desk’ immediately and repeatedly disconnects you. You use the chat in the Bonvoy ap and the person tells you that all the phones on the 2 & 3 floors don’t work. There is a strange noise that starts about 4am and stays on 6 am. After which it cycles. It sounds like an alarm going off in a room next door that doesn’t stop. I was told ‘oh that’s the boiler’. I asked for a bottle of water as the give them out freely at most of the Marriott properties I stay in (yes, I have lifetime gold status, but honestly no other Marriott hotel has bothered to tell me if I got one at check in 4 days ago then it’s not free). So while these are all first world trivial things: there are way better nearby properties that are run more professionally than this place. The courtyard west orange is way better and even has electric car chargers so if EWR hertz only has electric cars left you can charge!
We had such a loud room, it's a little hard to judge. We were right outside the elevator and just had noisy neighbors. Maybe the walls are thin ;) but probably won't stay here again, there's so many hotels in the area.
We have stayed at this location over the years and we have never had an issue. The main highlight of our stays is Carlo. Recently we ran into a little personal snafu and upon hearing our troubles Carlo was kind enough to take care of us at the bar and brighten our afternoon.||On a note about the hotel itself, the bathrooms could use an update/refresh. Our tub did back up a bit and the toilet ran all night (the handle was stuck). Beds are comfy and it was very clear.
First time coming here after a day at Mountain Creek, and it was a very good experience. The atmosphere when you walk in an inviting with great front desk aura. We had to wait about 20 minutes before we got our table, but that was no issue, and the f
Got lots of good stores but the parking lot is a little bit weird the way how it's laid out otherwise it's good and there's a Chick-fil-A and a Chipotle there too
We were greeted by their friendly staff and the sounding of the gong ð¶!!
A group of family and friends were in Parsippany, NJ for the weekend and decided to try Sakura for dinner on Friday night. We were excited we did. It was a wonderful experie
