Courtyard Owatonna Downtown - Hotel in Owatonna - 225 N Cedar Ave, USA

Hotel looks brand new. Everything is immaculate. Room was clean. Bed is extremely comfortable. Hotel is completely silent. Cons: Fridge was warm when we got there, and you could only turn it on for a 2-hour timer. So it was basically useless. And the parking is a drawback. You’re in a downtown area. If you don’t get into the smaller lot close to the hotel door (maybe 40 spots?), you have to park in a garage across the street. Quiet, but a little concerning if I was a woman traveling alone. Overall, nice hotel for a quick pass through visit.

Everything was great! Place was tidy and clean, beds comfy, pricing fair. They had some computer issues with the Microsoft issue, and had to let us into our room. Jim was the best part of our night! He was so friendly and helpful, which was refreshing after a long day.

Beautiful hotel. The room was super comfortable. Nice large showers. Every employee was very friendly. We especially enjoyed our time at the bar. Lexie made us some fabulous drinks and was fun to chat with. I would definitely stay again!

I'm always weary about location. The area around the hotel had a small down-town feel to it. There were lots of shops and restaurants within the same strip just a small walk away. We were also fortunate enough to be in town during the opening week of the farmers market held in the park just down the street. The room was very spacious and modern. The bed was comfortable, the TV was a nice size, and the shower was huge. The only downside was that the water temp in the shower would change spontaneously. It's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get! So be cautious, you may get cooked like a lobster if you're not careful.

Very nice hotel in a great location in this cute little downtown close to restauants and bars! Great staff and made us feel very welcome with a baseball team of 11 year old boys which is not always easy. The hotel is only about a year old and very well kept. Definitely recommend!

I've stayed at my fair share of Courtyards - they're never anything special but this one really lacked. Quite expensive for what you get... for us that was peeling wallpaper and snack wrappers left in the room when we checked in. While certainly not the worst hotel across the Courtyard brand I am not eager to stay again. I asked about waters at check-in (something that the majority of Courtyards I've stayed at do) and was told they don't do this because it messes with their profit margin. They then went on to say it must be because they are a small town Courtyard - whatever!

Exceptional hotel. All the staff are fantastic with their professionalism/hospitality. The rooms are very nice, if I'm in Owatonna again I won't stay anywhere other than the Marriott Courtyard.

We were just passing through Owatonna and like Courtyards in general and we were very impressed with this particular hotel. Amazing service, the general manager, the bartender, everyone greeted us with a smile and so friendly and helpful. Above and beyond!
