Courtyard Newburgh Stewart Airport - Hotel in Newburgh - 4 Governor Dr, USA

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Newburgh Stewart Airport for two nights as part of a group. Overall, it's a decent place to stay, particularly if you don't plan on spending much time on-site. The rooms are pretty standard and basic, offering what you need for a short stay, but not much more in terms of amenities. One thing to note is that housekeeping only services your room if you're staying for three days or longer. For shorter stays like mine, you'll need to call the front desk if you need fresh towels or toilet paper, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the hotel does not provide free coffee or breakfast. Instead, there's a coffee shop in the lobby, but be prepared to pay a premium for anything you purchase there. The snack and gift area is also quite small and on the pricey side. If you're looking for a place to sleep and don't need much beyond that, this hotel will meet your needs. However, if you value extra amenities or convenience, you might want to consider other options.

All these bad reviews are CRAZY! The room was beautiful. The A/C worked great. Everything was extremely clean!!!! 10/10 Service! Patti at the front desk provided superb customer service & hospitality. My husband went to a wedding in the area while I was home sick & Patti at the front desk helped me with all my questions and needs getting my husband setup there. With a previous night of the hotel being sold out she still helped him get checked in asap so he could get ready for the wedding. Although I know I bothered her with my million questions lol she still made me feel like it was no worry at all. There are very FEW places left with people like Patti. Please take care of her Marriott and keep her forever. Thank you again Patti & hopefully I can thank you in person one day!

Beware of the cancellation policy. This hotel is charging me the entire amount of the one night stay I had to cancel because my partner tested positive for Covid and we could not attend the event we were planning to go to that would require the hotel stay. So disappointed since it was more than 24 hours advance cancellation.

Overall, a decent stay but with a few drawbacks. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. However, the bathroom cabinets were damaged and the pool was on the small side. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay, but if you're looking for a place to relax by the pool, you might want to consider elsewhere.

First and last stay. Pluses: Convenient enough to reach. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Negatives: The bathroom was disgusting. (See photos). Other parts of the room were sparkles but not painted, beat up door jams etc. This was the “suite” that I paid for. Based on my status, Platinum or Titanium, I requested top floor away from elevator when I reserved. I received middle floor directly across from the elevator. Obviously nobody cared to read the preferences. (The hotel was 3/4 empty based on cars in the parking lot).

This Courtyard was quiet, clean, and well-maintained. We stopped there for just one night. While the sofa bed in our room wasn’t made up upon Bonvoy App request, the housewoman on duty was happy to help us out so we could get our child to bed. (We arrived late due to the weather.) We truly appreciated her help since we were exhausted from our road trip.||Breakfast is overpriced and didn’t taste great. I don’t know how one messes up oatmeal, but I won’t ding the hotel for that. ||Would definitely stop here when coming through town in the future.

We have been staying at this hotel for 7-8 years now and have witness its decline. This weekend was our last stay. Besides the bed being so worn it was concave, we found this critter in the picture below climbing up the bed as we were about to leave. We showed it to the person at the desk and she thought it looked like a beetle but would have people go up to take a look. She also mentioned the beds being old and they were waiting for new ones. Later on that day after some online searching we realized the critter looked like a bed bug. I called the hotel gave the room number, left my phone number and asked for the manager to call me. I was told the manager would be in on Monday. It’s the end of the day Monday and I still haven’t heard from anyone at the hotel.

Do not stay here. There's no AC in the rooms. Hotel staff said that AC is turned off "for the season". It's April 27th and 70 degrees outside. Feels like 80 in our room. No complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby. Only a Starbucks bistro. The gym has several fitness machines out of service. Indoor pool is "closed until further notice." Marriott would be wise to inspect this place and remove their Marriott branding agreement. It's not up to par.
