If you’re looking for a lovely, quiet place to stay, this is it! I stayed here for work a couple of times and everyone here is amazing. The front desk is always warm and welcoming, the rooms are spacious, and please go see Joe at the bar! If you’re traveling he makes you feel right at home. He has the best stories and really takes care of the guests. I have rarely met someone so caring! The hospitality at this hotel makes me want to come back just because!
The hotel is nice.. but the bartender is so rude..if your just sleeping here, good spot, if you want food or drink.. go elsewhere
It's hard to accept how low hotel service and hospitality has sunk since Covid. The utter decline in hoteling is a blightvon American Business and Culture. Our 1 night at this property was marred by indignant and discurteous personnel and poor management. It's clear why service lacks. It's because the mgt that runs it is innept. We asked for more pillows since there were 2 of us and only 2 tiny pillows when we checked in. The pillows never arrived and as a result, neither of us slept well, at all. Breakfast was to be part of our stay but they refused to honor it claiming it wasn't included. This even though it was clearly on our prepaid reservation. The tv didn'tcwork in the room and there wss no one to semd up to fix it. 1 of the reasons we chose this hotel was for the free Ezv charging stations provided. However, 2 of them didn't work and the 3rd had a car parked there for 3 days. The hotel mgt refused to have the car moved. The tennor of the attitudes of every one we encountered at this hotel was terse and acerbic. What kind of a property allows their staff to alienate payijg guests? I think it might be a Phili thing, b/c a lot of the people at this property had bad dispositions. Also, they wouldn't and haven't applied my Marriott points. So I lose 30,000 points for a pretty terrible experience. While it's a nice enough location, I'll be hard pressed to ever return and I advise fellow travelers to seek other accommodations.
Went to a wine tasting dinner it was amazing. Chef Jeff was on point. Great job Setting it up, Joe Foti, the bar manager. Totally appreciate the invite, Bill.
We stayed here as part of our daughter’s wedding weekend, 2 nights. From the very beginning, we were greeted warmly by the front desk staff, and then throughout our stay were impressed by the hospitality of the service team. Everyone was super-nice. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and super clean. Even though the Courtyard is one of Marriott’s mid level brands, the feel is that of a much higher quality hotel. There is a lovely bar in the lobby during the evening hours, as well as a casual bistro style eatery during the day. It’s within walking distance of the University of DE campus, which has a lovely Main Street, with lots of shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area!
The woman who checked me in wasn't very warm and friendly. She didn't provide information regarding any amenities, location of elevator or alternative exit/entrances, cafe schedule, gym hours, breakfast information. I'm a rewards member yet wasn't offered water. She was just short and I felt like I was bothering her. My room smelled like smoke and I found a pile of ashes by the window. The rest of the room was clean enough for the average person I suppose. No microwaves, no continental breakfast, if you order breakfast no one will bring it to your room, my window wouldn't shut fully, the body wash fell off the wall the first time I tried to get a pump. It was within walking distance to my conference but otherwise I would not choose to stay here again.
Front desk staff is pleasant enough but the hotel is dingy, rooms are dirty, bathroom grout is showing it's age, and the towels aren't fit for human use. I requested that my room be properly cleaned and linens changed, which shocked the front desk. I don't know why we as travelers continue to accept poor hotel room condition and lack of services, while being price gouged at every step. Pay a few dollars per night more and stay at the Hyatt, which is in a better location, with cleaner rooms.
Fabulously friendly staff. When we walked in, a kindly gentleman noticed our little dog and patted her then brought her a special goodie bag for four-footed guests. Room was comfortable and clean (a bit worn in places but nothing can be new forever). The staff at The Bistro was incredibly warm and our breakfast was excellent. We will stay here again.

My family and I stopped here for 1 night on our way to MA and the location was perfect being right off the highway, the check-in process was so quick and staff was extremely nice and helpful. Our room was very clean and the beds were so comfy that I
Very clean updated hotel. Nice room and bathroom. Breakfast was good, nice variety and how can you complain about a free breakfast. Lots to do within a few miles of hotel. Also since security seems to be an issue with some people, the side and back d
I was surprised that the room had a kitchen, I wasnât aware of Candlewood having kitchens. The rooms were ok, this is a newer construction hotel in the area. I would recommend, and highly recommend over the closest 2 other hotels. Itâs a bit of a
This is a great place to train athletes. My husband found them for our son who plays football and lax. He absolutely loves going. They push these kids to their max potential. Very professional trainers and a great group of people. I highly recom
Great restaurant! Service was friendly and quick. Good quality and taste were great! The only thing that could have been improved was that the appetizer came out at the same time as the meal. Otherwise, great experience and definitely looking forward
I absolutely love 9Round! The trainers are great! The owners are great! Itâs a quick 30 minute high-intensity interval training workout thatâs fun and melts the pounds away! And itâs a different workout every time. The facility is clean and the
Visiting from Maryland and had an amazing experience! The employees are kind and helpful. The New York Style Chicken platter is amazing. The rice is flavorful and the white sauce is perfect. The portion size is enough for two meals. Will be back.
Iâve been wanting to join OTF for the past six months. Finally took the plunge, and joined with my husband. Every experience at the Newark and Christiana locations have been nothing but professional, friendly and extremely welcoming for someone wh
The park is set back far enough on a side road that unless you know it's there you would never know it's there. The walking/ biking trail is gorgeous. The creek that runs through it makes for a very peaceful hike. If you look close enough you can see
We attended a semi-formal church function at Deerfield one evening. It's a nice clean place. Well decorated. Good catering staff. Food was good but they didn't serve the million dollar bacon I've been hearing so much about. Seems to be a popular wedd
