Positive: The room at this Hotel : High ceiling and big space from bed to TV or Bathroom area . There is Sofa . Most hotel no sofa just chair (1) Negative: 1. The staff service : Not friendly and not helpful 2. The Coffee or Tea stand in lobby : The Hotel did not have it 3. The bReakfast is not buffet system . And the service is poor

Great to work with for a organizing a group! The staff is a pleasure to work with - they are pleasant, polite and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to working with them in the future! Beautiful and clean facility as well!

Tim at the front desk. Pretty awesome. I feel like the rooms are super dated. The patio out back is decent. Never got the checkout, the pool or a hot tub. The bar has weird vibes. Seems like the bartenders don't want to be there and prices of beer are outrageous for what kind of beer they have. I stay at a lot of Marriotts And this is one of the worst I've been in in a long time. Needs a solid update to keep customers engaged, especially in the lounging area.

I guess I didn’t read the fine print. I have never stayed at a Courtyard that didn’t offer complimentary breakfast. We were 4 people. Given 2 towels. Peeling wallpaper. Simply put - the room was worn down and outdated. As having status, I usually get an upgrade. We were given a room next to the elevator. We asked for more towels and there was hesitation as they were apparently out of clean towels. We wanted to spend time at the pool. There were no towels and you couldn’t even enter the pool as it was so crowded (it was super tiny). Not sure why a parent would allow certain behaviors - but that is not Marriott’s fault. I also am disappointed as I could have booked this hotel on Expedia for over $100 less than what I booked on the Marriott app. I didn’t call in time for the price match. Otherwise, the staff seemed friendly but needs to be better prepared for a holiday weekend.

You know what you are getting with a Courtyard - the reason I'm writing a review is that all of the staff we interacted with were very friendly, which is just kind of nice after a long day of driving in traffic. At check in they gave us an unexpected snack bag and credits to use for food. It was no problem to get extra towels, and the woman working the breakfast area was cheerful too. The whole lobby/lounge looked a bit more inviting than in other Courtyards. The room was very clean. In the last year or so it seems Marriott (the regular/more expensive ones as well as Courtyard) has started using much cheaper/thinner towels. Thats not the fault of this Courtyard, but I'm mentioning it because they are getting so thin you can practically see through them :-).

I booked the Courtyard Marriott Middletown for my June 2024 wedding block and was very disappointed in the service & stay. The rates quoted for a wedding block are extremely high and not on par with similar classes of hotel nearby or in any other part of the country. The managerial staff was always responsive but overall a challenge to work with. We considered adding a group breakfast or a late bar to our package, but the rates were just truly out of control. They had no loyalty to Marriott status and made no accommodations or additional offerings to respect that; something I have never previously witnessed in nearly 400 lifetime nights stayed with the brand. They guaranteed a first floor suite for my bridal party to get ready in and two days before the wedding sent an incredibly unprofessional email revoking the room with no empathy, consideration, or any form of compensation. Upon hearing my justified frustration, the manager's only response was that I seek accommodations elsewhere. Multiple guests reported not being given welcome bags upon check in. Also this hotel has no safes in the rooms & at no point was that communicated to us during the 18-month period we were in discussions. Despite the convenient location, I would not book a room or a room block with them again.

We had our wedding after party at the late night bar in the lobby and had a blast. The staff had everything ready and set up for us and we’re very patient with our large (and rowdy) group. They made sure we were all taken care of and couldn’t have been more professional. Thank you to the staff and thank you to Kayla for helping us organize and plan it all!!

My wife and 2 small children stayed here for 3 days as we had a terrible experience somewhere else. I have stayed at numerous of Bonvoy properties internationally and know what to expect at a Courtyard. This hotel was exactly what we expected. The he service was amazing, laughing and making jokes, and giving us some amazing recommendations for some stuff to do nearby. Pool was fun with the kids and the rooms were great. It isn’t a brand new hotel and I believe the rates are in line with that. Thank you to everyone who made our stay special and a special shoutout to the new guy in the bistro who did a great job on his second shift. I don’t know why there are negative reviews recently but they likely aren’t telling the truth. For anyone nervously reading the reviews for an upcoming stay - yes there is an option for breakfast - it’s well worth it - no there’s no bed bugs (I pulled the sheets and checked) - the employees are awesome - there are 4 restaurants in walking distance as well as a large mall “Galleria “ that has lots to see and do including an adventure course for kids - and it’s super close to Legoland (12 mins) Thanks again for saving our vacation!
