Always a pleasant experience here. Front staff is always very attentive and kind. Only issue I’ve noticed for the past month is the front door is still not working properly. All in all of great hotel that is outside of the busy area, that is downtown LA.

Front desk was so rude to me about getting parking fees waived. Manager that called me back was nice, but her logic was "hey 'everyone' does it and we do too." I gave her a chance to waive the ridiculous fee to keep my business, explaining that it's unethical AND they aren't even close to a premium scarce parking downtown location. Nope! So I found a hotel closer to downtown with free parking. So I guess not "everyone" charges. Also, when I called to cancel I got the rude front desk person again. She condescendingly said they'd waive my cancellation fee. Her mood did not improve when I reminded her that she was not doing me a favor, I had a flexible rate, so my cancellation was part of the terms, not a favor. Also, after looking at the pics of the vagrant encampment to the north of the property, I am very glad I cancelled. And to the 'owner' who will feel the need to respond to this: This review is not for you, I don't care about your silly canned response claiming "reasonable parking fees" like you commented in other negative reviews. This review is to warn others about the fees and the dangerous vagrants 6 feet from their "paid" parking spot.

I went to this location this past weekend on a girls trip. I knew we were going to be more high maintenance than usual, but I trusted Marriott to help us through the trip. This location was NOT it. The front desk were beyond helpful and went above and beyond to help us out with miscellaneous requests, but the amenities were not as described. The parking was limited even though we paid $21 a day, the bathroom was NOT cleaned upon arrival, the fridge did not work and all of our food went bad, the shower and sink were clogged beyond repair, and the snacks we purchased at the front desk were expired and not edible. Thank you for your great service ladies at the front! But I would NOT recommend this location if you’re expecting the usual Marriott experience.

We stay here alot. Yesterday when we checked in our room was hot due to the air not working, the refridge didn't work; I tried calling the front desk to let them know but the phone didn't work either. I have them 5 stats all the way because they room changed us to a MUCH BETTER room. It is our 44th Anniversary and they made it great. I would recommend this place and will come back. Beds are comfortable.

Staff was incredible beginning withHannah at reception. After we left we realized we left 2 nice tops and called to see if they were found. Christian not only located them, he delivered them personally to our next hotel in Santa Monica. Room was also very comfortable with fun restaurants nearby.

Really epic hotel for the price point. One of the better bistro/restaurants I’ve been to at a hotel of this smaller size. Easily the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel! The entire staff was exceptional, extended my checkout time by two hours without any charge, and were happy to answer any questions I might’ve had. The rooms weren’t excellent, nor were they bad. Everything was clean, but the amenities seemed lacking. No mugs, no water bottles(genuinely weird), no mini bar, the TV was fine but nothing stellar, no Bluetooth connected alarms, etc. Very little sound deadening, I could hear dogs all night long. 8/10

Google maps doesn't give best directions but found it. Upsides, wings and loaded tots cooked to perfection and were delicious. Rooms are good sized, bed comfy. Showers are amazing. Never seen full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Plenty of towels and clean. Downsides, a bit spendy and they charge extra to park. Otherwise, good place to stay

I stay at this Courtyard approximately 3-4 times per year and I love it. It's clean, quiet, and the room and furnishings are up to date and stylish. I especially love the modern bathroom with easy walk in shower and great water pressure. It's convenient to the freeway, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods.
