Courtyard Lafayette South - Hotel in Lafayette - 200 Frem Boustany Dr, USA

This is a newer property. General Manager Patrick O'CONNOR was very nice to my Mom and I and resolved a small problem with the front desk in communication over a bag of Tea for the room. Hotel Clean. Inside and Outside. Room. 501. Two King size beds. Beautiful! Comfortable. Smells good like Air freshener. Bathroom clean. Great location. Near restaurants and stores. Safe neighborhood. Worth the money! Yes! I would recommend this Hotel to family and friends. Also, Jasmine, employee at the Hotel. Courtyard by Marriott. Was so nice. She came to our room and gave me 2 Tea bags. Very friendly. Also, she tried to help me with my Lost n Found in Lake Charles LA Golden Nugget Hotel Casino. I was able to use the swimming pool for 15 minutes, before it started raining.

This place has really gone down hill. I used to stay here all the time. It was so nice. Staff was great. While I still like the staff the condition of the rooms for the price was shocking. There was writing on the walls, it was not clean. The ceiling was all messed up by the light fixtures. There were curtains missing. Furniture was all messed up. Windows were disgusting. I could go on. I mean it was bad! I can only attribute it to management because I always stay with Marriott a lot of the times courtyard and they never look like this. If I hadn’t had paid with my points I would have asked for a refund. Do yourself a favor if you want to stay at a Courtyard. Go to the one across town. It’s much better

Loved this area. It is conveniently placed in the area that I most frequent in Lafayette, so it's a nice place to stay for a mini vacation. The room was unique to me in the sense that they only have king and double king rooms.

We had to wait awhile for the front desk clerk, because she was "talking to the chef", but other than that the trip was pretty ordinary.

Rooms were very clean and appointed. It's a newer hotel compared to many and has been well maintained. Conveniently located and close to just about everything. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This place is overpriced and over rated for what you get. Staff is untrained and if there is a manager, it's not apparent. This hotel is not up to the Marriot standard. Employees are in dire need of training! Most look as if they are wearing pajamas to work- there's no standard dress code, as far as I could tell, except for the wearing of a name tag. I would not say here again. We recommended this hotel for a family reunion and are very disappointed and embarrassed.

Rooms are ok for a middle of the road Courtyard. Elevator smells like a wet dog. Most hotels have coffee available in the lobby. This place only has a bar and you have to buy the coffee and they don't serve until 6:30AM. This hotel doesn't know their market...most people on business here are up early and already heading to work before then. There is no "grab and go" food like most Courtyards have. They have this "bistro" that is really just a few tables in the lobby. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of breakfast options close by.
