Courtyard Kansas City Shawnee - Hotel in Shawnee - 17250 Midland Dr, USA

I had a good short stay here whilst travelling on business. All of the staff were very friendly and the breakfast offerings were good, I liked that I could have a good big cup of coffee!||My room was fine and the bed was comfortable. Not having the best site, I would’ve appreciated a bit more light in the room as it was quite dark at night but it was manageable. Everything was clean and I had a nice stay

Very clean hotel with a quiet nights sleep. No complimentary breakfast. There is a Starbucks cafe available though with very limited options. Our room was not serviced during the day while we were out. After returning at 5pm I had to go and get towels and coffee. Our trash was not removed, dirty towels still in the pile we’d left them in and our beds did not get made. To me, that’s part of the perk of staying in a hotel. Those things get done for you. It is part of the cost of the stay.

very bad, hallways carpet very very dirty, looks like never clean, room with old furniture, and very deteriorate , bed very uncomfortable, mattress very old and terrible to sleep , curtains are damage , in three days i got service only one time, and was only make bed, they don't remove garbage or clean bath. A hotel have to make service every day, is no an airbnb or hostel is a Marriott hotel that is very expensive.|people from the hotel are very nice and kind.|but this hotel need a really urgent renovation, , they don't have breakfast. is a starbucks cafe and very very expensive .||i don't recommend estay there.

Clean but dated and rooms need some maintenance & charge for coffee. Place is in a great location by a steak house and they have coffee in room but not much and I was running late so wanted to grab a cup in the lobby only to find out they charge for everything and coffee is over $3. Not bad but better choices around.

Negative: Room seemed worn, wallpaper was pealing in places, furniture was somewhat dirty. checkout time was posted inside of room door as Noon, went to get coffee, came back at 11:15 and my key didn't work, front desk advised check out time is actually 11.
