Courtyard Jekyll Island - Hotel in Jekyll Island - 178 S Beachview Dr, USA

Had a great 4 night stay, meeting up with our daughter and family who were vacationing at the resort. We were so glad to be able to check in as soon as we arrived before 2, and the hotel was very nice. It has great flow - so easy to navigate to elevator or stairs (we were on second floor so usually used the stairs, right next to the elevator). The main lobby is totally open and has restaurant and bar as well as sitting areas, and goes directly out to the patio, pool and boardwalk to the beach. The pool is fantastic, and adjacent are outdoor tables for the casual restaurant (or people could bring their own food or just relax and get out of the sun). We had lunch every day, and was perfect. We also would stop by the bar, which also faced the ocean for an after dinner glass of wine. The outdoor area had cornhole, ping pong and lawn size games like Connect4, perfect for us with the grandsons. Our suite was very nice and had a huge balcony (although not covered, so could not use if rained) and large sectional in the living room area. Only complaint was that had a few issues with the housekeeping - the shower was missing the dispenser for body wash - I asked 3 times over the course of the day before someone finally delivered in the evening (after showers were done). Similar with the coffee maker supplies - when we checked in it hadn't been replenished, and after the day they serviced the room, they never replenished either. Took 3 requests again to finally get (we were getting up very early for sunrise, so only way to have coffee that early). It was a bit annoying to have to keep asking for things that were basic to the room and not extras . Note that it is over a mile (but there is a path) to get to any other restaurants/ shops in the village. Beautiful wide beach. Would stay again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. GREAT bedding! Was perfect for our little weekend getaway. The lobby area is on point! We had a great selection of seafood options for our needs. The lobby and fitness center is what actually made me want to stay there. It did not disappoint.

We had a great time at Court yard by Marriott on Jekyll Island. Wow where do I start. I could write a book about this place. The Hotel is very nice, clean. The restaurant has the best food. Definitely recommend the burgers & the bar margaritas!! The rooms are exceptionally clean & nice. The view from our studio was amazing. The breakfast was also great. My favorite was the hash brown casserole! They have a huge selection for breakfast eggs, grits, sausage, pancakes, biscuits, gravy!! Kudos to the cook!!! The staff & management are so friendly & kind. We got to meet the general manager Rick. You can tell that he & his staff care about how well the guests stay & experience are to them. You are greeted with a “Hello”., I definitely will be returning & recommending my family & friends.

Last minute vacay with the kids before school starts and we were not disappointed in any capacity. The hotel is a hidden gem. Great locations, views, bar and food. My kids said the lemon pepper wings and chicken salad from The Shore are the best they’ve ever had. Nothing is missed or forgotten with this hotel. Great activities for kids (arcade and ice cream and pool and games) Great features for the adults (bar and live music and Starbucks in the lobby). Highly recommend! We will be back ASAP!

Way way too overpriced for the quality and customer service of the hotel. Rooms are decent and seems to be a newer hotel with great views of the beach. The pool was hot and absolutely filthy. Full of sand and cloudy. It was like dirty bath water. Breakfast was non-existent. I would not recommend this hotel. Stay off of the island and then visit during the day to summer waves or the local attractions. Stay in Brunswick before you consider this hotel. The area also lacks local restaurants to accommodate the influx of tourists during peak times. Disappointing Marriott affiliate.

The front desk staff was rude from the start very short and didn’t have time to be bothered by guest, however, we arrived early and expected to have to wait for room service to finish preparing rooms but not to be treated with contempt from the staff. So while we waited we decided to have lunch down street. After lunch we returned and checked in, once in the room we discovered the bathroom sink would not drain and we had no bath towels so I immediately called the front desk and requested towels and was told they would have towels brought up after waiting and no towels arrived we went to the beach to enjoy our weekend. We returned several hours later and no towels, we called the front desk again to be told they would have towels sent up, we waited 30 minutes no towels I went to the front desk and asked for towels they didn’t have any and would send some right up. Finally the towels arrived.., Dirty towels, smudges of something brown, and hair both long loose and curly black hair. What a terrible stay I will never use this hotel again or recommend it yo anyone, but be assured I will tell everyone of the miserable stay and rude staff we dealt with at the Courtyard at Jekyll Island.

I felt thankful to have been able to rent a room last minute. The front office staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was on the upper floor with a decent view of the ocean. With this being the first time my nephew has ever seen it, I was especially thankful. A negative would be that the room smelled like disinfectant the floor was still wet from "being mopped"? Otherwise it had all of the necessities we needed and we were even lucky enough to meet some really great people.

Outstanding location ... family Vaca. End of summer caused issues with running out of food in the restaurant... ran out of over 15 different items. Rooms are very nice, beach and pool combo is restful and fun! Staff is middling at best but trying.
