Courtyard Houston Sugar Land/Stafford - Hotel in Stafford - 12655 Southwest Fwy, USA

They should have more than 1 person at the front desk instead of having people standing around for minutes at a time trying to check in. The guy who checked us in says, "elevators are on the left", which left? Can you at least point to where the elevators are? Rooms are really, really basic, no perks whatsoever. Bartender make some awesome drinks...I did not know Marriott hotels only use Pepsi products. I did not like the location, too much noise from the freeway. I will not be returning to this location. It's pretty much a MOTEL.

The property was pretty run down compared to other Courtyards: rubbery wallpaper instead of shower tiles, my ‘Executive King’ enjoyed a view of only the dumpster in the service alley. Even housekeeping didn’t come but every other day. The clerk at the front desk, however, was warm, professional, and helpful. She made my stay feel 2 clicks better than it was. Thank you!

Checked in later at night. Fast service and the front desk was very nice. I asked for late check out and got a 1 PM check out. Rooms seemed a bit smaller for the courtyard brand, might be an older. My only complaint, the people who clean the room came and knocked about 6 times in the morning before 11 am. It got to the point where I had to call the front desk to confirm I had a late checkout which they said should’ve been noted. It wouldn’t have as bad, but I was working from the hotel and my family was asleep.

The location was Highway adjacent. It allowed us to access restaurants, stores and other events locations. The suite we were in 401 had King sized bed, microwave and refrigerator with sink. The room was quite comfortable with a Bistro. The staff was very accommodating.

The desk clerk who checked us in was over the top too chatty. Took too long to check in. The temperature in the rooms was hard to control from the wall thermostat. It was either too cold or too hot. Restaurants fairly close.

Super kind staff. The hotel is beautiful and super clean. Raymond at the cafe was particularly kind and helpful! We’re coming back to sugar land in a few weeks for work and hope to stay here again. The view of the river is also beautiful and it’s easy walking distance to get to shops.

It’s pretty much a safe bet you know what you will get when you come to a courtyard. They are pretty much all at a good standard. I like coming to this one because I like the staff- always take good care both evening and morning.

I was here for a weekend, and couldn't have chosen a better spot. All of the staff were kind and courteous. I'm extremely thankful to the housekeeping staff and front desk clerk who helped me with my wedding outfit, as I was in such a bind with the zipper. My room was perfect, and the amenities I utilized during my stay were amazing. There was only one night where I believe a bachelorette party was staying and they had gotten a little loud in the hallway late at night, but that situation was taken care of. Will definitely keep this place in mind if I travel to this area again in the future.
