My daughter and I stayed here over the weekend. From the moment we arrived until the second we left, the valet team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make our stay easier. Parking in downtown areas can be a hassle but not here! The valet team showed me how to call for the car when we needed it. We never waited more than 2 minutes for our car to arrive when requested. Most times, they already had the car waiting for us. Every person on the valet team did an excellent job from Thursday evening 7/18 until we left on Saturday 7/20. Please pass along our appreciation and congratulate these hard working people. They did such a wonderful job making our trip so much more enjoyable. ||The staff at the front desk and housekeepers we encountered were also very friendly. ||We have stayed at a different location nearby but not anymore. The service at this hotel won us over. We will be back.

The day I got there it was hectic for me but the guy at check in was very patient with me and helpful. I love the rooms very clean and the pool was a plus since my daughter was persistent on going swimming. All front desk employees were amazing though when I needed something. I would definitely return to this location next time I go to fort worth. This location was very convenient as well to other dining areas and also enjoy the corner bakery right next door.

Had a wonderful visit. The updates throughout the property are lovely and nicely reflect the Cowtown point of view. Front desk staff friendly and efficient! Valet was so helpful and kind, and he gave me excellent advice to navigate the festival blockages. ||Could not have been more perfectly situated to enjoy the arts festival. Room was clean and organized even though it was cozy. Fabulous view, comfy bed, fridge and microwave, ||I’ll be back for FW Staycations!

First let me say all the staff I interacted with were very nice and accommodating. It made the stay very pleasant in spite of the facility being older and leaving a good bit to be desired. ||The entire place has been renovated, seemingly recently, and certainly multiple times over the buildings life. But at its core the building is old and just not up to modern standards of comfort.||The rooms are small and there’s nothing you can do about that when you renovate. But in spite of a new façade on almost every surface, the core infrastructure is still clearly very old. Leaky plumbing, noisy air handler, very dirty windows, dark dreary halls. ||Seems to me the only way to salvage this desirable location would be to gut the interior and truly renovate/modernize this facility.||Price is reasonable for the location and lack of parking is standard for a downtown hotel. Overall meets the purpose of a simple getaway for an event, but is not luxurious.||I will close by again saying the staff make up for the building’s shortcomings.

This is one of Fort Worth’s finest properties, and a great spot for either business or tourism. I can remember being here for the Bicentennial in 1976 as a big teenager, and I liked it then. Downtown Fort Worth sort of left the station, and by 1981 there was virtually no living business down there and this building was shuttered. It sat there boarded up until 1999 when the city and Mariott agreed to a joint funding venture to bring it forward and make it the show place it is today.||There rooms are Mariott quality, including the beds, towels, sheets, and all those pieces one gets with a lodging room. I’ve stayed there and put my family down there mainly for the nostalgia included with your room and the views. In 2000, when Mother Nature decided to urban renew downtown with a tornado, this building made it without any significant damage.||Their lobby is stunning, and there are remains there of the way we were with their beautiful staircase to nothing. They have an elevator garage for your car that has easy access, and on the top of it is a very serene pool and associated paraphernalia, and a fantastic place to escape the city for a lunch break, or just to relax. Hilton added the parking annex, and this pool in the 1950’s but it’s an amazingly quiet place with the hubbub of the city going on below.||The building is old, being constructed in the 1920’s, but nothing inside of it isn’t plenty new in perfect condition. On the stair-step rooftop are 4 suite rooms with doors that open out onto the roof to find a beautiful patio/balcony type affair for the guest to have drinks, a meal, or just to stand there and view the city, however it’s recommended that when we’re hosting tornados the guest stay in the building.||History indicates this is where the votes were counted and ratified in 1948 allowing LBJ his first senate seat. Some of their rooms have unusual shapes typical of a 1920’s building, but all of them are up to Mariott quality every time. Somewhere in the past, the building was host to a radio station, where the studios were in the little room on the topmost floor.||I’ve had lunch with the Corner Bakery a lot more often than renting the rooms, but it’s always a pleasure to visit this place. They’re going to charge you for parking, and I don’t think there’s any space for self-park, but there are plenty of paid self-parking lots very close. It has great accesses to the convention center, government buildings, and anywhere in downtown where there is always visible private security guards running around on bicycles, keeping the whole area a safe, walkable area at any hour on any day.||I don’t use them a lot because I own a home here, but I am forever a pitchman for the place, and had lunch with them countless work days. It sat there boarded up, waiting for an arsonist to set it on fire from 1981-1999, and that never happened. Give these people a try, because you’ll like the quality and service in a elegant setting remaining from a day gone by.

Positive: The price of the room was really one of the lowest in the area and the room was very clean, staff very friendly. A/C blows so cold in the room. Negative: Hotel is small. When you enter, it is very small and feels closed in. Lobby is small, rooms are very small. The bathroom was too small for two people to get dressed. Swimming pool was very small. The view was of rooftops so that was disappointing.

The location was perfect, the parking was great, the valet staff were amazing and the staff at the hotel were friendly. The bed was hard, and my husband and I didn't sleep well. In the middle of my shower, the water was shut off for a leak, so it was very inconvenient since I was getting ready for church. Even with all that, I only took off 1 star, and the only reason I wouldn't stay again was the bed.

Unfortunately did not have a good experience staying at the Courtyard Marriott in downtown Fort Worth. We received an email noting our check in time was for 10:30a and denoting our check out time as well. Nothing would lead us to assume otherwise until checking in at noon and being told by the front desk that check in was not until 4p. We were able to find another room that was available to be checked into immediately but very disappointed that we could have potentially been told to bring all our luggage back to our car. Than after telling the front desk we had paid to park at another garage and asked if the hotel had one she insinuated to us that the hotel had free parking. Little did we know it was an additional $42 a night and our original parking was cheaper. Very poor communication as she could have very easily informed us it was paid but mislead us to believe it was paid. Neither was this a typical parking garage but you pull into the garage and have to valet park your car. There are elevators for the car that the attending valet puts your car into. If we had wanted valet, we would have used it out front. Again, very very disappointed with our stay so far and will not be staying here again due to the severe lack of miscommunication. La as
