No free breakfast food or snack option. They have a bar with mini fridge and a fruit cup and some OJ. Surprised wasn't some type of breakfast food put out. Rooms were clean and new feeling. Wouldn't stay here again, nice when you can grab a yogurt to go. No bathroom fan so everyone in room can smell your poo
Positive: Location is great and from the outside the building is nice. Negative: Pool furniture literally torn and run down. Rips in most every lounge chair. Room not perfectly clean. Soap dispensers pulled off the wall and not repaired.
Clean rooms!!! I always bring my own cleaning products to hotels to clean myself and was happy that I didn't have to do that. There was an abundance of towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, extra linen, anything you would need for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and I slept soundly. The staff were attentive and personable. I felt the Bistro was overpriced for the food, but other than that the common areas, workspace, outdoor seating, and other amenities made the stay pleasant.
The check in area is very nice & the staff is friendly. Once you start walking to the rooms, it seems to go downhill. There are stains everywhere, even on one of the pillows. There was a black hair on the toilet seat. If it wasn't so late when I got in, I would have asked to change rooms, but who knows if a new room would have been better.
My room had no ventilation and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom; the room must billow with steam and regular basis and the room had a musty earthy smell and odor and it made me have a very stuffy nose. I personally feel that the room had mold issue and I’m a Licensed Mold Assessor in the state of NY and took classes in Texas for mold too. Other than that I liked the place.
Positive: The location is great. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. Amenities were great. Negative: Call furniture needs to be updated. Most was broken or inoperable.
First room the door was bolted shut and broken; when asked told room should have never been on rotation and were moved room. Only to be put in a room with a broken iron, sticky substance on the walls, and a broken balcony door handle. Shower also dripped all night even when turned completely off. Pool was out of towels and full of bugs and leaves.
Came in on Friday march 1st paid for our room. Never got house keeping 1 time our entire 2night 3 day stay. Had to use dirty blankets, towels, washcloths. Was embarrassed by staff memeber on Saturday morning , March 2nd, accused of not paying upon checking in how my card was declined. Never declined upon check in mind you, it posted at checkin. Ostracized by this staff member in front of other guests and staff employees. Spoke to manager who said he would take care of our room, have housekeeping come ect. Never came (housekeeping) manager Never came back to speak with my husband and I. After 4th attempt for housekeeping we got a complimentary breakfast coupon for all this. ||Won't be back to this location maybe not even this hotel chain. Not handicapped friendly either. Not accessible for anyone handicap , not accessibility for showering for handicap individuals either. Fernando in the Cafe and the gentleman working this Sunday morning with him two of the most excellent kindest employees. Others nice but you can sense they hate their job. Especially the two young ladies yesterday at bistro working in the morning time. ||Thank you for an unpleasant anniversary weekend with my husband. Between water leak in our hallway, no housekeeping, rude staff, not handicap accessibility it just was not the ideal experience we wanted. We are very disheartened by our experience.
