Courtyard Fort Lauderdale Downtown - Hotel in Fort Lauderdale - 721 N Federal Hwy, USA

So our flight was cancelled last minute and we needed a place to stay the night. We ended up picking this Marriott. It was definitely the right choice. The guy at the front desk was the best. He gave us late check out so we didn't have to sit at airport and upgraded our room. The hotel is beautiful and the rooftop pool is amazing. We would definitely go back.

Poor customer service.||On the second day of a three night visit, I went to pick up my car from the hotel valet. After thirty minutes of standing at the valet stand I was informed that my car had been towed from the garage the night previously. After another two hours my car was picked up from the tow lot and returned to me. I was given the keys with no apology or explanation. The delay caused me to missed dinner with friends. I was never contacted by the hotel to apologize and unbelievably, to me, they still charged me $34.28 for parking upon checkout. They didn’t even offer to pay for the gas used to drive my car back to the hotel from pompano beach.||Other than this extremely poor experience, this is a nice hotel. Relatively new, clean and well maintained. I have stayed here multiple times, although after this experience I will be looking at other properties in the area. There is a nice rooftop pool and several good restaurants in walking distance.||The hotel does not really recognize status. As a Titanium Marriott Bonvoy member I have never been upgraded or even given water upon check in (water in room is $7 a bottle).||Overall, I would recommend the hotel, but hope that the team there works on improving communication and service.

Nicely located for an overnight stay before boarding for a cruise. |Taxi cost approx 150$ from Miami airport and took around 30 mins. Picked up taxi from airport no issue |Hotel was clean and welcoming. Our family had a great stay! The hotel is perfect and in a great location. We were checked in by Alfonso who was so extremely pleasant, understanding, and helpful. He was sincere in accomodating us after a long trip. Shout out to Alfonso and Michelle! The rooms were very clean, food on-site was very good, and rooftop pool was spectacular. There are also some great local surrounding eateries.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a 2 nights and overall, I was impressed with the quality of the rooms. The beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, and the bathrooms were modern and well-appointed. The room was also surprisingly spacious and had a decent balcony . However, there were a few areas where the hotel fell short. The hotel's cleaning staff and front desk staff seemed to be lacking in hospitality. Additionally, the front desk staff seemed unfriendly and unhelpful. Another area for improvement is the outdated charging stations in the rooms. It was frustrating to have to search for a working USB port to charge my devices. Despite these issues, I would still recommend this hotel for its great location and overall atmosphere. The hotel's common areas are modern and well-designed, and the free breakfast was a nice perk. With some updates to the staff training and amenities, this hotel has the potential to be an excellent choice for travelers. For now, it's a solid option with some room for improvement. The young man at Valet was extremely nice and helpful.

Our room was quiet and beautiful. We never once heard people in the hallway or from our room. The front desk clerk, Manuel was a superstar. We were unfortunately in town for a funeral and he went above and beyond in an effort to make our stay a pleasant one. We will absolutely be back, but next time, for a vacation or pleasure trip

The staff & service was excellent. The property was clean, ample cabana seating at the pool and the music wasn't half bad. one night they had a live dj accompanied by a guy playing the trumpet and saxophone which was GREAT. The view from the rooftop are nice and the food options surrounding the hotel are 4/5. The only things that would make this a 5/5 are complementary coffee in the a.m., changing the smell on the ground floor lobby area, it was overwhelming & a shower door. Although I appreciate the aesthetic of a glass partition, water always gets on the floor

She clearly stated expectations regarding housekeeping services.|- **Room Quality:** The room was very spacious and comfortable.||**Cons:**|1. **Valet Parking Issues:**| - The only parking option available is valet, for which there is a charge.| - Our car was left parked overnight on the street, resulting in the theft of the valve caps from our rims. Despite reporting this, the hotel only took a picture and filed a report. No compensation or adjustment was offered, and there was no further communication on the matter.| - Long wait times for the car when calling for it.||2. **Housekeeping Service:**| - When we called to request housekeeping service, the front desk lady was rude and unhelpful, refusing to provide her name.| - Despite requesting full service (towels, soaps, coffee, and vacuuming), upon return, only towels were provided. No coffee or body soap was replenished.| - Ana apologized for the inconvenience and offered a $20 credit for the bar/restaurant. She promised to notify us once the room was ready, but that never happened.||3. **Departure Day Issues:**| - On the day of departure, it was raining heavily, and only one person was handling the cars, leading to a wait of nearly an hour for our vehicle. ||**Overall:**|While the property itself is amazing for a Courtyard and the initial impression was positive, the service fell short in several key areas. The valet parking issues, inadequate housekeeping response, and overall lack of attentive service were disappointing. Despite some efforts to rectify issues, the experience was ultimately just okay.||-
