Courtyard Detroit Metro Airport Romulus - Featured Reviews (911)
I selected this hotel because it's close to the airport, has a shuttle, and my departing flight left around 5:30 am.
The front desk staff was sweet, responsive, and very helpful. Also, I checked into my room using the Marriott Bonvoy app. I had questions and they were answered quickly via chat by a staff member of this hotel. The high points of this stay was the responsiveness of the front desk staff, proximity to the airport, shuttle, and it seemed safe to walk around at night while looking for places to eat. The bed was comfortable. The cons are that the bathroom wasn't clean when I checked in. There was a towel on the bathroom door left by a previous guest and hair on the shower. In the app, I requested for the room to get cleaned every day during my stay. The room was never cleaned. I even called the front desk to request more towels on the morning of day two and asked for my room to get cleaned. The front desk person said it would be and sent more towels up immediately. However, after leaving the room and coming back many hours later, it was still not clean. You can also hear the planes taking off. The rooms are far from sound proof.
Lovely staff and living up to the Marriott name.. a feat more challenging than you would expect. Nice room, nice bathroom, a little porch off of the room. Poor soundproofing and it’s literally a mile from the airport so if airplanes overhead scare you, get further away. I can’t take a whole star off for it though, the main problem was that I had an adjoining room on the top floor.
You do have to ask for the shuttle sometimes, they should post publicly that it’s on a half hour loop. A little painful to watch other shuttles pass you by. I also feel they could afford a free breakfast, the cafe prices are a bit outrageous but the paid breakfast I tried was good.
Though we only stayed for one night, we had a pleasant stay at the Courtyard Marriott located by the airport. The service was great, the rooms were clean and cozy and it was a convenient place to rest our heads before heading out for an early flight the next morning.
Room was great (clean and plenty of towels). My room was on the first floor which had a walk-out patio door and patio with a chair. No issues with any of that, however it was odd there’s a common area not far from the patio where people hung out till late at night, so I’d hear them. Also when the planes took off, it felt like they were right above me so the drawback of the patio door was it must not be that well insulated as there was a lot of plane noise.
I’d stay here again though…front desk lady was super friendly and no issues with the rooms, plus plenty of TV channels.
Nice clean hotel. Great showers. The manager of the hotel Tamera went the extra mile to make sure we were well taken care of. Would for recommend this hotel especially because of the convenience to the airport. They have a nice park and ride package.
Do not stay here if you’re expecting a frequent shuttle. The last two visits had me waiting at the airport for over an hour each time. Lesson learned.
For the price, this should be better. I say this as a Gold Elite Marriott loyalist.
On behalf of STS Line Aircraft Maintenance Group, I would like to express our sincere appreciation for the wonderful experience we had at this hotel and the wonderful experienced and very knowledgeable staff Terry, Larissa, Brittany, and LaTonya that always greeted us with beautiful smiles and wonderful service. Every staff worker at this hotel would speak to you and greet you and make you feel warm and comfortable. We are truly grateful for your cooperation and all the services that you provided us. We look forward to seeing you again in future. An enjoyable and comfortable and very clean stay. Generally, the hotel was above expectation. Thank you guys!!!
Positive: Safe area. There were a lot of other hotels in the same area. No homeless or people living there full time. Negative: Thought I chose a place with free parking. Hotel did not have a pool or free morning coffee bar/ breakfast included. Doesn¿t look like house keeping keeps the decks clean as there was leaves and webs outside. Negative: ""

If you have a flight out of DTW I highly recommend this hotel. We have stayed here 1/2 dozen times the last few years and have never been disappointed. The facility is clean and well maintained. Most recently we had a very early flight and weren't ab
A great location with plenty of amenities, including a full service restaurant with some of the best chicken and pancakes I've had! Besides the air conditioner being a little busted, and the low water pressure of the shower, the room was great. The b
Embassy Suites is one of my favorite places to stay no matter where they are. This one was nice. The free breakfast is always good with made to order omelets and pancakes. You can get scrambled eggs already made and thereâs usually a good choice o
We got 2 rooms for our party. Both rooms were clean and up to date. Front desk guy when we checked in was super sweet and the other staff we encountered were all friendly, "Hi, how are you? Have a good day." The breakfast was the typical carby stuf

I want to thank Romulus Flowers & Gifts SOO much! They helped us with a prank for a lost bet on my brother Mitch. He was dressed in an embarrassing Donald Duck costume and had to stop by and pick up 'daisies' from Romulus Flowers. Michelle the owne
