Courtyard Columbus Grove City - Hotel in Grove City - 1668 Buckeye Pl, USA

Absolutely loved this place the bed was soft and comforter was even better! Evening staff was very sweet and had great customer service, morning staff was quite the opposite. Very confused when they said breakfast was included even on their website and it was absolutely not. Besides that everything was very accommodating! Read a lot of reviews trying to choose a place by the airport and glad this one lived mostly up to the reviews.

We came in for business. The rooms were available, as booked. No king upgrades were available. Rooms clean. The bathroom, especially the shower, was large. Good AC. Starbucks on first floor. Only complaint was one elevator service floors 1 & 2 the other all 4 levels. It was repaired by the time we left.

Location: 10/10 If you forgot anything on your trip. There are several shops nearby. The highway it right there (but you dont hear it), so it can get you anywhere in 30 mins max for the most part. There are also lots of food options to choose from in case you don't want to eat at the hotel. Lastly, this area seemed rather safe. Obviously, still lock your car doors and practice safety, but we didn't feel concerned about our well-being. Amenities: 10/10 We did not get to use these because we were too busy. However, we did check out the lobby and get some pictures for the review. My husband said the furniture in the lobby / lounge areas were comfortable. Some of the couches had charging ports for your devices as well. There was a family in the dining area eating pizza having a game night. So I imagine that was comfortable as well. They have a couple of outdoor seating options, including a firepit for cooler weather. There is a workout area / pool. (Didn't get a picture of the pool because there were people in it.) Nothing super grand but clean and nice for what they are. Also, if you need something washed. You have an option to pay for a washer / dyer. Room: 9/10 We stayed in a king-sized room. Fairly roomy and nice. The only 'issue' I had was the mini fridge moving up every time I opened the door. Which caused the cabinet door not to shut and me having to move the fridge back everytime. This is most likely a user error, though. lol Overall, it was a very nice room. The bed would be my only complaint. It wasn't horrible, but they could use an update. Other than that it had shampoo, conditioner & body wash provided in the shower if you forgot yours. A hair dyer and the usual hotel coffee stuff. Service 10/10: Seriously, one of our better hotels stays. Everyone was super nice and attentive. Very personable and chill. You felt like you could actually relax and enjoy your time. Overall, it was clean, quiet, nicely located, and a nice place to lay our head for a couple days.

6/13 Reserved a room with 2 beds upon checkin. They only had a king bed and pullout sofa. Room smelled like cat urine and cheap fabreeze. Pulled out sofa bed and discovered a rather large bloodstain. Manager refused a refund or room change, and offered to send someone up to “clean” the stain. Checked out anyway. Stay away!

Positive: Room comfort, nice bed and shower.clean exterior grounds. Negative: The restaurant was horrible.food was cold the in the evening. Breakfast the scrambled eggs resembled can corn,toast was one piece tore in half no butter either. Don't recommend at all. The lights in the room had to be on for the fridge to work. Negative: ""

My wife and I visit Columbus frequently. Recently, we had some stays at the courtyard. We were in a hurry one morning and realized when we returned home that we had forgot several items. One of those being her Apple Watch. We phoned the hotel the next day and they had recovered all of the items. Grateful for the professional staff and the clean and comfortable stay.

Positive: Great location, several dining options close by. Nice area. Negative: Travel baseball teams on the weekend. Kids being rowdy in common areas.

Nice hotel. As a platinum member, the front office lacked good customer service (need proper training that), only the manager was hospitable.
