Courtyard Clemson - Hotel in Clemson - 201 Canoy Ln, USA

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the last 18 months because my son was considering Clemson for college and is now attending. |The hotel is fine, but it needs some attention.|First trip was Feb. 2023 and I don't think we had any problems. Second trip was May 2024 and our room had no hot water when we checked in around 4pm. We were told there was no maintenance on site to check it out and also that no one could check another empty room to see if it had hot water so we could move. Really odd. This most recent trip was June 2024. Of note, the pillows in our room were awful. We drove, so I really wish we had brought our own pillows. The ones in our room were flat and seemed very old. Also know that this hotel seems to have central air, but they have also installed room units near the window and they are super noisy at night. Like really noisy. For someone like me who sleeps lightly, it bothered me even with sleeping ear plugs in.

Very clean room and friendly staff. Could smell the freshness when I walked in the room. Granted there are updates that need done in the room, but as long as there's clean sheets that actually smell clean, I'm happy. Also, walking distance to a few breakfast spots and restaurants made it a convenient location, including a quick drive to Clemson.

My experience here was very good. Vicki was very sweet when she checked us in. The room had a comfortable king bed with a couch and a nice tv. There was a microwave, fridge and internet in our room and an ice machine on our hallway.. There was no breakfast included but we opted to eat across the street at Eggs Up vs the bistro in the hotel. There is also a Publix grocery store really close. This was a great deal plus it was clean, comfortable, quiet and has a caring staff.

Great hotel for visiting Clemson University. Very close and friendly staff. The rooms are clean. The gym is basic but nicely maintained. The outdoor fire pit area was great for early morning relaxation. Since we are Bonvoy members we try to stay at Marriott properties so this one will be utilized a lot while the kid is at Clemson. Go Tigers!

This hotel exceeded all expectations. Area was safe, rooms were clean, affordable, & very spacious. The bistro could use improvements, but the hotel picked up where it lacked. Will return!

Pleasantly surprised. I booked through my work. After a long day, arrived and they said no reservation for me. They had room available and was able to give to me at the same rate. I was a little worried bc it was right off the elevator and by ice maker BUT, room was amazing . Bed was comfortable. Aside from me pribly passing out from being tired, I barely heard any hallway noise. Was very pleased with my stay and would return to stay here.

This hotel was great. Nice and clean. I have no issues with this location. The staff were super nice as well. Thanks for a great stay in Clemson, SC.

The staff are great but the manager Mike is one of the most unfriendly, hateful human beings you'd ever want to meet. I'm a Titanium Elite and I have stayed here literally hundreds of times in the past two years. You would think I would be treated with respect, but Mike is uninterested in treating customers with respect. I hear the same thing from his staff. Mike would rather argue with you than give in an inch on something that is Marriott policy. Mike - I won't be staying with you any more! I'll take my business to Greenville if I have to.
