Courtyard Clearwater Beach - Hotel in Clearwater Beach - 455 E Shore Dr, USA

Love this hotel. The property is so beautiful and well maintained. Our check in was outstanding. Tameka made us feel extremely welcome and was beyond wonderful with each and every interaction. The valet staff is top notch and treated us with incredible courtesy and consideration every time we made use of the car. The staff at the Bistro were also very courteous and did a great job. Housekeeping staff, particularly Kenya, were fantastic as well. We traveled here to address a serious issue and having a place like this to stay helped alleviate the burden of that. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wanted an overnight get-away from Tampa. Great experience. Princess at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. She was patient and very great with my daughter. Valet folks were great. Room was very big- was not expecting such a big room on the beach. Every side of the hotel has great views. Walkable to so many cute places and close enough to the beach to make it an easy walk with a few items. Enjoyed our stay - will be sure to stay a few days next time.

When we pulled up to the property, we were greeted by a super nice valet. We then proceeded to the fourth floor to check in. The guest services agent was pleasant. We arrived to a huge, spacious what appeared to be clean room. I always spray the room and areas (tables, countertops, chairs, bed, linens, bathroom, toilet, handles)where I lay my personal things. In addition to wiping down areas with Clorox wipes. I absolutely loved the room until I sat on the couch. It smelled of p**s and all to be damned....UGH!!!. That is the only reason I didn't give the room a rating of 5. The couch needs to be replaced. Whatever industrial strength product used to mask the odor, does not work when a person actually sits on the couch. PLEASE REPLACE THE COUCH IN ROOM 517. The bed was very comfortable. The ladies in housekeeping were very friendly. I did notice there was quite a bit of cleaning during our stay, of which I was VERY impressed. On our second night, my husband and I went to the rooftop for a night cap and the bartender was pleasant. The drinks were ok. I don't think they were worth the price as they weren't strong at all, as they were watered down. On our third day we went to the pool to relax. I went inside to order something to eat and drink. The demeanor of the man that took my order was tolerable. I smile when I speak, but he wasn't have it. The hotel, I think, is in a pristine location as everything is within walking distance. I HIGHLY recommend this hidden jewel.

My hotel room window overlooked the marina and the bay. Very nice view. Our kids loved the pool. Adults enjoyed the rooftop bar. The staff were professional and attentive. Front desk employee Mikeia was very helpful and resolved all of the quirky/ difficult requirements that my family requested. She really made the stay much better.

We had such a nice stay. Everything was perfect. The hotel was so nice and clean. All of the staff were wonderful from the front desk, valet, housekeeping, bar, bistro. The food was so good! The pool was very nice with all the amenities included :) my family had such a great, relaxing time. The beach is in walking distance as well as shops and so many good restaurants. We had such a nice view of the marina. We will absolutely stay again!

My boyfriend and I had a great time staying at the Courtyard Clearwater Marriott. The location was absolutely perfect, with everything you need nearby, so no car was necessary. Most importantly, the staff was amazing. From the moment we checked in to when we checked out, everyone was so friendly and helpful! We were especially thankful for Mikeia at the front desk. Despite our very early flight and arrival before check-in time, she held our bags while we had breakfast, and by the time we returned, our room was ready early. Overall, it was a great stay at a very clean hotel with well-maintained rooms.

We have very much enjoyed our first trip to Clearwater. Hotel was great. Clean, good location, walking to shopping and many many great restaurants. Would love to stay here again. Shout out to Tameka at the front desk….she was great. Very helpful very friendly very knowledgeable. Marriott lucky to have her.

This is a bit long but worth the read ~ I am a Gold Marriott member and I can tell you three excellent things about this Courtyard|1. Location was amazing|2. The view from our room was amazing|3. The size of our room was amazing|Now what and why we felt this is not a standard Marriott Courtyard|1. We paid for the biggest room they offered it was a 2 room suite there was no clock in the bedroom and the living room had two small chairs and one oversized no couch so watching TV to rest for a bit was out of the question. Tons of empty space in the living room.|2. We had two queen beds they started us out with 3 bath towels one wash cloth and one hand towel ???? Not even enough had to ask two days in a row for towels.|3. The in room coffee pot was a joke seriously if they paid $5 they overpaid it is a single cup plastic piece of crap that did not work more then it is and once again not enough coffee ~ cups ~ and they had packets of dry creamer not liquid????|4. The fridge they sat on the counter top??? Fridge was very small and we had to keep hitting the refresh button every 2 hours to keep it chilled.|5. Never any ice on any floors|6. Housekeeping never came had to call for basic stuff like bed made take away used towels and clean trash|7. Tried to enjoy the pool 2x and was unable they only have I think 12 to 15 loungers|8. All staff seemed like they did not want to be there. My husband had to go to the bar to get ice and the bartender said he wanted to quit tonight as a guest was rude to him (I can see why this hotel can be sooo much more)|9. We to the roof bar waited for 15 minutes and no service walked out|10. My husband and I ordered each a beer at the lobby bar and the bar tender puts two cans on the counter and never offers to open them up ~ that was personally a first for me.|The Hilton across the street on the beach is ALOT nicer from the outside and the pool area. We are long time Marriott members and try to stay at Marriotts where ever we go but for the money we paid it totally was a HUGE disappointment.
