Courtyard Chicago Wood Dale/Itasca - Hotel in Wood Dale - 900 N Wood Dale Rd, USA

1. Billing was screwed up. The room was supposed to be charged directly to my company (CEO's CC), but that did not work properly; therefore, I ran my card. Solved the issue the next day.|2. When I first got to the room, the Toilet would not flush two squares of toilet paper, a sign of bigger problems. I changed my room immediately.|3. Both rooms have disgusting stained furniture.|4. They do not clean rooms daily.|5. The snack bar self-serve restaurant is outrageously expensive $14 for two eggs. I'm glad that I brought some granola bars with me.|6. There are no restaurants in the area. You will need to drive for a couple of miles.|7. Bill was screwed up on checkout. My personal card was run for incidentals. They had put charges from their. little convenience store. on my bill and I did not buy anything. from their store or snack bar. I was able to get these charges reversed. |8. The lighting in the rooms is poor and the place looks like it may have started off as a Howard Johnson's or something like that many years ago and has been redone a million times.|9. This is not the worst place that I have ever stayed. It does kind of give you the feeling that I don't really want to take my socks off in the room.|10. The TV was good though not a great selection of channels. USB charger and power strip on desk. WiFi worked.

Narda is such a cheerful and positive woman ! I’ve stayed two separate weeks and every time I’ve seen her she was always so polite , helpful and gave off amazing friendly energy. Even after a long day at work barely wanting to converse with anyone and just get in my comfortable hotel bed , her energy would make me stop and chat with her every time! Seriously 10/10 customer service , I’m surprised she works at the front desk . I’d for sure say MANAGER MATERIAL !! Thank you so much for the pleasant stay , she was the reason I chose to book this hotel for a second stay.

Upon walking in the lady at check in stated she could not find our 4 rooms reservation. She was not that friendly and was eager to end her shift. She simply said she had to go and passed us off as she was leaving, to the very sweet lady who without any problems quickly found our 4 room reservation and quickly gave each of us our rooms. She was great!!!!! Unfortunately when I went in my room and proceeded to shower I was thrown off to see that there was shaved hair on the bathtub wall by the body wash bottle that was provided by the hotel. Encountering this had me questioning the cleanliness and sanitation in general of the hotel. On another note, there was a Hispanic lovely young girl who assisted us with breakfast on our last day there. She was AMAZING!!!!! Very sweet and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. I have to say, the breakfast there was always fresh and delicious!!!!! Aside from the little things that threw me off I would consider giving them another try when I'm in the area again 🙂

Great place to stay closer to airport. Chicago downtown is 35-50 mins with traffic. Without traffic it’s like 20-25 mins drive. I don’t remember the lady at the desk during check in, but she was very helpful and made sure we have everything we need, even though it was 3 AM. Overall good stay at decent price.

We just used the shuttle service to the O'Hare airport. I just want to say Jeff M., the valet, is awesome! Great to chat and extend a helping hand. Offered great service. All the best to him!

I just put in a great word for Sabrina front desk agent .. she really went over and above when my group of ladies flight was canceled at the Chicago airport .. she helped the nightmare for me trying to accommodate with 15 rooms!!! She was an absolute ROCK STAR!!!! .. then when I called back a few days later to get information on one of our charges Kim was also a ROCK STAR immediately helped with a smile in her voice!!! This hotel offers the best customer service !!!! I highly recommend this property and I will definitely be using them again in the future!..

If you need a handicap accessible room, even with a confirmed reservation, this is not the property for you. Facts: 1. A specific reservation was requested, made, and confirmed was not honored 2. The room provided did not have equipment needed and the hotel failed to provide equipment needed timely 3. I had purchase what should have been provided all along With a broken leg, I needed a room with a roll-in shower. My corporate travel agent personally called the hotel to arrange a room with a roll-in shower. I also called the hotel to confirm the reservation and room type. When I arrived, I was told the room was not available. The associate at the check-in desk gave me a handicap room. I asked if the room had a roll-in shower and was told it did. I get to the room and there is no roll in shower. The shower had multiple grab bars and a shower head with a hose. I called back down to the front desk to ask for a shower seat - if they could provide a shower seat, I could make it work. At this point it's after 11pm. The front desk said they would have maintenance bring a shower seat the next morning. That night I sent a message to Marriott Bonvoy explaining the problem. The next morning the associate that made the original reservation called. I explained what happened. She was perplexed why they couldn't give me a shower seat that night because the agent that checked me in had access to a shower seat. The next morning I get up and go to work - no shower because I didn't have a shower seat. I return to my room after work and there is a monstrous shower couch in the middle of the room entrance. I struggle to put it in the tub only to see that it takes up the entire tub space. Since the hotel was not able to provide a viable solution, I had to order a seat on Instacart and had it delivered. I hobble down to the lobby to get the box. The clerk at the front desk sees that I am struggling to manage my walker and the box to take it back to my room. She offered absolutely zero assistance to help me. I am really astounded (and not in a good way) that 1) a confirmed reservation was not honored; 2) a very simple request to compensate for the reservation that was not honored could not be fulfilled in a timely manner, and 3) common sense was thrown out the window in thinking that the size of the shower seat was a viable option. I called Marriott to file a complaint and also submitted one online. We will see how this is addressed. Needless to say I will never stay at this property again. If you need accessible room accommodations, this is not the property for you. I heard Hilton properties are much more reliant in getting accessible rooms. Guess where I'm staying next.....

Didn’t make on our flight. So had to take a hotel that specifically had airport shuttle, to make out like easier. Not the case! Waited for a shuttle to the hotel over 30 min, ones we got to the hotel they said that their shuttle stars running at 7, but our flight at 7, so had to use Uber, and hotel wasn’t willing to reimburse Uber drive. Breakfast is not free here. And in our room water wasn’t draining in a sink. Just not a good experience. And not the closest to the airport, like 20 min drive Please check there shuttle service, if that’s what you getting ready to use!
