Courtyard by Marriott Fishkill - Hotel in Fishkill - 17 Westage Drive/Route 9 &, I-84, USA

Very clean Marriott property right off the highway near gas, restaurants and shopping. ||Arrived around 7:30pm and was offered an upgrade to a 1 BR suite (Marriott Platinum for Life status). We truly appreciated the extra room. It had a small fridge, microwave and long countertop to place items. ||Bed was comfy, a little firmer than our preference, but better than most. Lots of pillows in the room so we didn’t have to call down and ask for more. The cafe with Starbucks was our main reason for booking this particular hotel (there are at least a half dozen other hotels within 1/2 mile radius). They don’t have a dark roast decaf and couldn’t do a pour over so I got the dark roast. It was much weaker than any dark roast I have had a Starbucks. It also wasn’t as hot as I would have liked it - almost like warm. |Front desk at check in and check out were very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping does a great job keeping the rooms fresh and clean. ||If our travels take us through Fishkill, NY again, we would definitely stay here again. Overall A-.

Positive: I liked the rooms, and the quietness of the rooms. Negative: The pool and pool room were freezing. I booked the hotel to take my 3 year old swimming it was not possible. There was no hot tub (said there was), it completely filled with cement. Restaurant had a menu of 5 items (prob microwaved) and VERY limited bar.

Stayed here for a few nights, and had a very nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the furniture seemed new. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and professional. Hot water and coffee were always provided in the lobby (the water was lukewarm once or twice- but the front desk staff immediately replaced it for us). They also offered complimentary cookies in the evening. The person who truly made our stay special was Jelsa the cook. She’s a true gem! Such a kind, caring, friendly, and accommodating professional. She truly went the extra mile, and provided us with outstanding customer service (and truly delicious breakfasts!). Thanks to Jelsa, we started our days feeling valued, cared for, and very full! Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at the Fishkill Courtyard hotel.

Super convenient location for travelers, right off the highway. Room was clean, with free coffee. Water was hot. Beds were clean amd comfortable. For the $100 price, it's a good deal compared to other comparably priced options.

Older interior. Clean room,older furniture and in need of replacement. Super slow front desk staff on check in. Decent location near a shopping center. Had the newer Marriott TV guide system so that was nice. Weird room layout,couldn't see the TV from most of the king bed. Overall ok stay.

I booked a suite and the room was so small. It basically fit two beds that were aligned across from each other rather than next to each other. It was not a good choice for a place to get ready. I also tried to add rooms to my hotel block and the sales staff just ignored my multiple e-mails. The one e-mail that they did respond to, they did not answer my request--they could have just told me it was not possible. I called them and the front desk offered to let me leave them a voicemail and it was never returned. I called/e-mailed for 5 business days straight. They only responded to me after I e-mailed them information about my shuttle, but never displayed any information at the front desk, noting that it was the bus driver's responsibility. The Hilton next door put up a nice sign for us so that guests knew when to catch the shuttle. I would not recommend this hotel for a general stay or for a hotel block.

We were staying here when my husband was suddenly taken seriously ill. The staff reaction was wonderful - a lady from the front desk came to our room with me and waited while the ambulance came, letting them in at the entrance nearest our room. We had to extend our stay and staff could not have been more kind and helpful - even though they were at capacity and very busy. This is a superior Marriott, with staff training to match and I’m very grateful that if this had to happen (husband is now fine), it happened here. There’s a bunch of restaurants, a well-stocked gas station/convenience store and a diner within five minutes’ walk of the hotel, plus a small pantry in the hotel lobby. The laundry facilities came in great handy during our extended stay too - I only wish I’d been able to use the pool and fire pit. Highly recommend and we’d definitely stay here again.

When we arrived there wasn't anyone at the desk. In the back room there was an individual on their cell phone. A female came out after 5 minutes to check us in. The pool was extremely dirty we actually wiped our finger against the pool and it left a clear mark. The floors in the pool area needed to be swept and cleaned. There were towels in the room that had wads of hair in it. The sitting area in the lobby was nice, but the tv's weren't working which would've been nice. There were dust webs in multiple areas of our room. The carpet in the room felt wet when we walked in. The stay could've been a lot better. Cleanliness and friendliness go a long way. Location is great. There's a lot in the area and right off the I-84.
