Courtyard Buffalo Downtown/Canalside - Hotel in Buffalo - One Canalside, 125 Main St, USA

Probably one of the nicer Courtyards I've stayed at. The staff was super friendly. I had a very minor (less than 15 minute) wait for my room, which they upgraded me for. The upgraded room was gorgeous with a beautiful view of.... the construction site. I don't blame the hotel for that though, the room was beautiful, and once the construction is complete (if ever), it'll be a wonderful view of the city. There really isn't a way to have a water view anymore, I don't believe. Hotel itself is nice enough, clean. The back entrance from the parking lot could use some work, but it's clean. Parking seems secure and is easy to get in/out. The nearby businesses are decent, some good food for a night or two. Overall, better than I anticipated for Buffalo, and one of the nicer Courtyards I've stayed in.

Disgusting service!!! Do not come here if you do not want to be robbed! I paid $375 for a room per night on Booking! When checking in at the reception, they asked me for a confirmation card. I gave the card, entered the pin code and they wrote me down another $400!! I asked what it was. To which I was told that this was the payment for the room! Carmen worked at the reception. A very unpleasant girl who spoke to us very rudely. She said that this hotel will return $400 someday, but she does not know when. Senior manager Philip came, who also spoke rudely and none of them even apologized!! In the end, I paid $775 for 1 night at the hotel!!! This is a scam and fraud! There was no minibar in the room for that kind of money. The water stream in the bathroom was very hard. the view from the room was disgusting - onto the parking lot and the highway in the bar on the first floor all the signs had fallen and were barely hanging on

Easy to find from the highway or from downtown, close to so many attractions and restaurants (quick 10 min walk to Seneca Casino), and very clean and comfortable. Pool is clean and a fun atmosphere, gym has a good variety of equipment, and staff was so friendly. Plenty of on site parking and right next to a train stop for easy access to the whole rest of the city. Room was so clean and a fun layout with lots of space. Will definitely be back!

I was charged for a room with a water front view it was actually a construction view through a dirty window. Other then that the room was clean. The front desk staff were not very friendly. I was also charged for parking during my stay. I don't know how you spend over $300 for one night and doesn't include parking or free breakfast. Does not seem rite..

We were left in a tough situation at our booked Airbnb and ended up leaving at 3:30 AM due to an insane amount of spiders crawling. We called EVERYWHERE. And this place is the only place that was available. We were charged $350 for the NIGHT and when we walked into our room (326) it REEKED of cigarette smoke DESPITE the no smoking sign. How the room was “clean” but smelled disgusting is beyond me. Everything was made but when we walked in, it smelled like someone had been hotboxing the room for days. We called for a room change but there wasn’t one available, so they ended up bringing air freshener which was helpful but brought on another strong scent. We finally started to settle down and chose to use their wine glasses to have a drink….. only to find a lipstick smear on the glass. This leads me to believe that they only clean things that are perceived to be dirty instead of proper protocol of cleanliness. Disappointing for $350 a night. Customer service and the water pressure saved this rating from being a 1 star.

This place is really disappointing. Everything is super expensive and we chose this hotel because of the hot tub. The hot has been down the 4 nights we stayed here. Our first room had a nasty stain on the bed and there was no apology or acknowledgement from staff. They wanted $17 for a glass of wine. This place does not fit the bill.

This was probably one of the best hotels we have stayed at. SO clean - the bed was amazing - the room large enough with a great sitting area and the shower was to die for. Parking was EASY. Let us give a shout out to the Bistro gentlemen who made a burger and fries for us even though it was 10 min to closing - the burger was GREAT - that gesture simply said YOU are an asset at the hotel and im sure to people around you. Thank you, Courtyard.

Room was nice, love the shower. But the spa was closed which was the main reason I booked the room for the $300+ price tag for ONE night. Not sure I’d go again without checking that first
