Location is close shopping & AMC. Comfortable room nice plush carpet! room decor is modern & chic. Shower had some dark spots, but I'm not sure if it was mold. Towels are thin & rough Overall good stay for the price.

The service was top notch . The systems were down to no fault of their own but these employees were making it work. Outstanding and friendly customer service. The managers were not on site helping but I hope everyone working during these dates gets a bonus. It was so much extra work for them but they shined out! Front desk , employee who worked PM 07/19, the next lady working 07/20 were patient and 19/10 competent . The ladies working at Starbucks were so kind and lady from Pensacola that met us raised the bar for making us feel at home at this hotel. The room was clean, pool was also nice but shallow and small. Fine for younger guys but older kids might get frustrated.

Had a solid stay. We stayed for the nearby Spartan race so I am reviewing in that context. Desk staff friendly and helpful. Shower had good water pressure. Rooms were clean. Beds are comfortable on the firmer side. Mini fridge in room. They had a tub which is useful after an endurance race. Only negative was the traffic in this area was a little crazy.

My only complaints are that the room smelled wet, the bathroom door was extremely heavy and slammed, and TV took forever to get working channels. Other than that, the room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the customer service was amazing. Lounge area with TV was helpful.

Please swap the staff here with the staff at the Epicurean in Midtown. THIS is the level of attentiveness I expected at a luxury hotel. The room was sufficient for one night. The property needs some repairs and upgrades. The staff more than made up for what the room was lacking.

Worst hotel stay I’ve ever had, and I generally travel about 20 weeks out of the year. I am not a Yelper, I don’t look for issues and complain for the sake of it - I’m writing this because I have to. Started off with a dirty room; fresh wine stains on the floor (can be seen on my white socks), dirty shower, hair on the towels. First night had a huge cockroach pop out from under the TV cabinet setup. Let the front desk know, told me they’d spray the room while I was out for the following day… 3:30p we come back and nothing has been done (not even the fresh towels I asked for). Was on a meeting for work and the hotel phone starts ringing, I had to quickly answer and hang up to try and avoid my meeting being disrupted… immediately received another call and had to go to the other room, have my girlfriend answer the phone. Now we’re told to come downstairs and move all our stuff, 20 mins before we had to leave and I’m wrapping up a call with a client. We move to the new room (we were clearly a nuisance for the manager, most of the staff were nice) and the new one has no soap, the towel rack was completely off the wall, and the toilet was filled with the previous guests’ pee. On top of that, the toilet didn’t actually flush. There was also a horrible flickering light in the other room. At this point we were the “un-pleasable guest” and everything we said to the staff (who were all hanging out on the couches downstairs while we tried calling the desk) just got us more eye rolls. First - you’re falsely advertising the state & quality of this hotel, it is not a new Bonvoy, it’s a horrible remodeled one. Second - leaving a previous guest’s waste in the bathroom is a biohazard, putting my girlfriend’s health at risk. Third - cause for concern & the time taken to address serious issues: plenty of time was left for us to experience more of the potential hazard in living/keeping our things & food around bugs and our bodies around human waste. I would much prefer a refund than having to tell all of my clients and business partners around Atlanta to never stay in a Marriott for the aforementioned reasons, and the overall customer experience.

The staff tells me the AC units in the room have a motion sensor which means when you are trying to sleep the AC stops working. I got up 3 times to get the AC to turn back on because I got too hot. How about instead of a motion sensor they attach a 8 hour timer so people can sleep?

It was disappointing to pay $200 a night yet they don't offer room services. The little restaurant didn't have any menus or offer decent meals, very limited bar choices and overall was not very accommodating to our needs. The location is horrible to get in and out of the parking lot. The employees were very nice they can only do so much because the hotel doesn't offer very much. The room was spacious, but the plug in placements are so spread out that you gotta go all over the room to get everything plugged in that you need. Also they have standing lamps that had no switch that we could find to turn off so we just had to unplug them at night. Overall I would not stay here again. This hotel was chosen by the organizers of a conference that we attended.
