We had a brief but lovely stay at CourtWood Inn while in Murphys for a concert. Chris and Larry are superb hosts - giving helpful tips about navigating the concert venue, providing a very comfortable stay and serving an absolutely delicious breakfast. |The room (Australia) was great: great bed, roomy and well-equipped bathroom and really nice outdoor space with a view to the valley.|When Ironwood Vineyards puts on a concert (with almost 7K attending!), cute little Murphys is bursting with people, so although we love staying "in town" it was really nice to be a very short (1.5 miles) way out of the hustle bustle.
My husband and I spent two nights at Courtyard Inn and had a fabulous getaway. The log cabin Inn is beautiful with exceptional views and excellent service. Larry and Chris are both warm and truly go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the Great Room is cozy with a fireplace and very welcoming during their wine and cheese evening gathering. Breakfasts were delicious with homemade hot dishes each day! Main Street Murphy's is a 5 minute drive and easy to access to and from the Inn. Courtyard Inn is a wonderful retreat and hope to return again in the future!
Thank you Chris and Larry for being such wonderful hosts. Their generosity, hospitality and attention to details make our stay unforgettable. We will give 10 stars if we can. The value we get from this place is way beyond what we pay for. The room is spacious, spotless and comfortable. Each morning we were greeted with the most beautiful and wholesome breakfast. Wine and cheese in the afternoons with sweat treats at night - we were treated so well! Will definitely return and recommend CourtWood Inn to our friends and family.
We had a short but lovely stay at CourtWood Inn when in Murphys for a concert at Ironwood Vineyards. We have visited Murphys many times and usually like to stay "downtown" but if you are attending a concert at Ironwood, (which seats almost 7K!) Murphys gets pretty congested, so it was really nice to be very close by but just a little out of the fray. Chris and Larry are wonderful hosts and Chris is a fantastic chef! Breakfast was delicious and lovely served outside on the deck with a beautiful view out over the foothills. She also had chocolate cake waiting for when we returned from the show - very thoughtful and tasty! Our room (Australia) was very comfortable and beautiful, the bathroom spacious and well-equipped, and very nice sitting areas inside and out on the covered patio (very nice and cool during the hot months). Highly recommended!
This B&B is amazing up on top of a hill where you can see for miles. Log cabin look and feel… beautiful place and our room|Was wonderful. Breakfast was as served on the outside deck in the morning. Glorious!! 2 full regulation size tennis courts available for use.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Courtwood Inn recently, and Larry & Chris Parker were amazing hosts. The property is simply stunning, gorgeous views, high end amenities, incredible hospitality and tasty breakfasts. It's so peaceful, yet is only minutes from downtown Murphys. It feels like staying with family, and we'll definitely be back!
Best experience ever. Very friendly hosts and home atmosphere. Peaceful environment. Ping pong and tennis playing with the best mountain view. Wonderful place for star gazing.
We loved our stay - it was peaceful, beautiful and very clean. The highlight - the most delicious freshly baked lemon cookies I’ve ever had (baked by Chris with homegrown Meyer lemons!). Although it’s not right in town, it’s a very short drive. Highly recommend this B&B.
We loved everything ordered. Beer is always great. The food even better. Didnât get a photo of the plates we had for lunch but will come back and try more options.
The cave itself is really interesting. Good pacing in the tour even though it's quite a ways down a 160 feet, the the gift shop is friendly and easy to navigate. The outside area has lots of shaded areas when you're waiting for the tour to start or j
I recently took the two hour drive from the Rocklin area to see Patti La Belle and Gladys Knight at the Ironstone Amphitheatre. We purchased reserved seats. Great view of the stage. And for those who would rather watch their live performance with an
Very spacious room although a bit old and heater a bit dated. We got a suit with a living room and one bed room, easily could sleep 5 for prices that are just 1 queen bed else where. The service is good and very accommodating. Location good, right n
Love the GF crust. Half salads nice and big. Delicious pinnacle beer. Wonderful outdoorsy setting with view of the street. We came for the Firewood Pizza but plan on exploring the cute town with lots of wineryâs.
