I wouldn't even let a dog stay here, manager is rude the person in charge of the money won't answer the door to even let people pay,hot water sucks,no screen windows so you have to run the air conditioner all the time,and plus if you do pay your rent they don't believe you that you pay it

I would give no stars but not possible. No service, rude invasive people, and 💯 percent sure they record the rooms. Located in West Olive with nothing but a gas station next door.

The room was okay it could have been cleaner but not bad. The guy running the office was pretty cool and helpful. The location is all right it's right here between my house and my mom's house. I had to stay there for a couple days while I ran out on my husband

Looking for a place to stay in Grand Haven while here on business. There is not a lot to pick from in this area and found the Courtesy to be|Pretty good for the price. An old style hotel with good thick block walls. Could not hear any noise from any of the adjoining rooms. While this is an older property I found it to be very well-maintained and very clean. The managers Lisa and Eric seemed like they wanted to do everything they could to make my stay good. They even provided me with a space heater when the heating unit in my room started to act up on me. DirecTV lineup provides plenty of channels on television. I found the mattress in my room to be of very good quality. Really not a bad spot for a no-frills type motel. Would definitely stay here again. Good value for the price.

the gas station next to the motel is 2nd cheapest. so ive been at the courtesy motel since the last week of october 2018 it is now january 2019 the price aint bad i pay biweekly for me and my fiance the employees are friendly they are very understanding and work with you. lisa who is one of the employees here is hard worker,she is friendly she even makes you feel like family if you need something she will go get it for you right away. you get a 10% discount at the subway next door as long as you bring your key for proof it is quiet here at courtesy motel rooms are clean, the water does smell but thats the sulfur and they warn you ahead of time but its not there fault its the citys. luckly there is a gas station and store right next door not expensive either.has cable,a fridge,mircrowave,lamps and free wifi and really nice bathrooms some bathrooms have an enormous tiled walk in shower others have tubs or just a shower and a honeymoon suit.

It was getting late, motels in the area were very expensive for the peak of the summer season, and I just needed a place for one night.||The manager was very friendly and solicitous. Rates were very reasonable, compared to national chain motels.||The room was very spacious; so was the bathroom, and the shower was *enormous*. The room was very dated. Not a problem if you just need a good night's sleep.||I had a refrigerator, which was very handy; and plenty of channels on cable.

Nice Hospitality,nice room,very clean. We stayed for 3 days, Its not the Hilton folks,but worth the stay. Did not see any ants, or anything in that manner,and the last time I check that you can wear anything you like,as long you are not in the nude,which makes since to me.Everyone around looked respectable, I asked if there was phones in the room,that said no,because pretty much mostly alot of people carry cellphones now in days,and you are welcome to use the office phone.Will stop again in the future and stay and THE COURTESY MOTEL.

I had a reservation for 2 days and received a call the day of the reservation that my second night was cancelled. The manager was female and just kept mumbling something about she made a mistake and that maybe someone would cancel. How many people plan a trip and hope they have a place to stay if someone cancels ?. In this town at this time is summer is a huge Coast Guard Festival. There weren't any other rooms available in the area. The bathroom sink was propped up by raw 2x4's. In short I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about getting a refund and requesting a safety inspection. The motel is not safe. We were ripped off my these people. Avoid this motel at all costs. It's a dump and sleeping in your car would be better. Beware you have been warned.
