I would like to update my review! My first time going here was not so great. We gave it another shot since many of our friends really enjoyed this place. I'm so glad we did! We have now been in several times since our first visit, and things are so much better! The service is great, and the atmosphere is cozy and fun. They have the best ranch and fries you will ever find in the area. They also have a killer spinach dip that you gotta try with the added bacon and tomatoes. Their pretzels bites and cheese are so delicious! Highly recommend this place.

TLDR: Decent food, realistic pricing, but slow service. Averaging out to 4 stars. Entered around 630 PM. We started off the experience seating ourselves while waiting for a waitress to come by. We had sat for a while without seeing ANYONE walk through the diner area - after about 10 minutes, we saw a tie-dyed waitress approach another table to check on them, but still - nothing. It took another few minutes for someone to even greet us and hand us menus. Our waitress, olivia according to our receipt, started us off not with a call for drinks or apps, but with a call for an IMMEDIATE 5 star review. If we could do it before we left, we'd get a $5 gift card. I didnt hold this against the restaurant's atmosphere or food, but it was definitely the second strike against the waitress. We ordered drinks - which took 10 minutes - and then ordered apps and food. For apps: fried pickles. This was brought by a run, likely someone from the bar area, because she also delivered our beer. In their defense of timing, these puppies came out HOT--- like, burn warning fresh. And, they were what you would expect. If I had to guess, they're the Harvest Creation or Fred's bulk fried pickles. It's not unexpected with a bar and grill to use pre-packaged items like this. It keeps overhead lower. Add some salt, dip in the ranch provided, and go. For food, I did the French dip with no onions and he did the Hawk. Let's start with the French dip. Good sandwich, good meat. Happy there. The Au Jus was very peppery - think like drinking pepper soup. It overpowered the broth. Definitely cut that pepper x4. Also, for the dryness of the hoagie, there was not enough Au Jus. Ordered with fried okra, again- bulk pre-made. Let's talk about the star of the night: the Hawk. That burger was SPOT ON. And, unlike everything else, it was entirely housemade. Maybe the patty was pre-made, but then you wouldn't have been able to serve it medium like that. The burger was well seasoned, paired with a great bun, with tasty toppings. Served with tasty cheese fries that were perfect. To the owner - I say this to say: it seems like you have some talent on that grill. I wonder if you looked at the other talent in the back of house if you wouldn't be able to make all of the things you buy prepackaged, increasing quality. Test it out! Quick on the atmosphere: like, it's a bar. It's falling apart, but I almost expect that in most places. The cushions died three years ago. The place is decorated in odd paper cut outs. The most modern things on the wall are TVs. The weekly specials showed up out of order. Overall, slow inattentive staff, kitchen that appears to be trying, and a building that's being held together by likely an owner who is never there and doesn't see it or one that just can't be bothered. If you're here for beer and the game, its not bad. If this is for any sober-experience, go elsewhere. It's not good enough without beer.

Stopped by for a late afternoon lunch. The Signature club is a three decker sandwich made with toasted Texas toast. The bread was toasted lightly and the bread crisp and light. I would have it again. I chose the homemade potato chips as my side. They were very good—crispy, brown with that homemade flavor—not sure what that is but it’s what makes the flavor. Not too salty, which I prefer. These are real homemade potato chips. Their burger is good, chili on top good also. Sweet tea is good. They were nice enough to make a grill cheese sandwich for my son, which was light and crispy and not oily, a little salty but not by much.

I was in town for the weekend visiting and our group of 10 on Fri and 5 on Saturday choose to have our supper here. Friday was Karaoke and everyone had a great time and those who sang mottled through the WiFi glitches that interrupted thier performance. Our good was great as well as the service. There were many drinking from the bar and our waitress was great keeping everyone with refills and fresh drinks&beers. On Saturday we return with a smaller group and ordered different dishes and they were really good as well. They had a live band who played alot of old Country and we are just use to more up beat and dancing songs. I highly recommend County Seat for great food and atmosphere.

Ordered a medium burger and received what looks to be a medium rare. Unpleasant surprise to say the least. Had it sent back only to be told that it was in fact medium. Severely disappointed. Other than that, there was no problem with the service.

The waiter was awesome and did everything he could to make our meal pleasant. The food was not worth what I had to pay but the manager did take off one meal so that was better than nothing. So, the number one thing was the chicken Alfredo was not what it should have been. There was no Alfredo sauce, to much Parmesan. We also ordered flounder and chips that was all over cooked. Then the cheese sticks that we always loved from there was too salty which I think was the breading and the marinara sauce was old, it had been sitting so long on stove that it was a brown color. All I know is this is not the restaurant from last year. I hope things will get better in the kitchen.

Three of us went to lunch at noon. We were seated right away and asked what we wanted to drink. Food was awesome. Service was perfect. The French Dip had a nice amount of beef and the bun was soft. I asked for provolone instead of Swiss and
