First visit to Auburn… unfortunately this place was about as mediocre for BBQ as I’ve had in a while.
The good-ish: The Texas Brisket was the highlight and was relatively tasty. It was a little dry, but the smoke flavor was good. Sweat tee was great!
Not so good: The Brunswick stew was unfortunately flavorless, cornbread was very dry and salad was a bit wilted and had pieces I had to remove.
Probably wouldn’t run back anytime soon… not saying I wouldn’t try it again, but it won’t be a priority for me.
We are not regulars but despite the food looking delicious, it was only okay - the ham was great, but the corn was cold and the steak sandwich was unfortunately not to our liking. This place is popular and well liked by many locals and so we will try again at some point in the future! The place is in need of a refresh/repaint and the entrance needs to be reworked but otherwise a decent place to eat.
We came early on Sunday and were sat immediately. Our server was Kendal and she was absolutely amazing! Super friendly, funny and outgoing! She was so quick with getting orders in and out to us, and even when the restaurant was busy made sure to check on us throughout the meal. Some of the best service I've ever experienced! As for the food, it came out quickly and was delicious.
I enjoyed the food. The service was good also. The building could use some work, but I just considered it to be sort of rustic. I'm very glad I didn't need to do number 2. It would have been very hard to do since the toilet was almost touching the wall! They need to take out that wall and make the restroom a little bigger so it would be a little more user-friendly. Other than that, I thought the food was awesome.
We had lunch today and it was good, but not great. The good: my wife's grilled chicken fingers (and amazing honey mustard) were phenomenal and the smoked corn on the COB was also a standout. The bad: my butter beans and squash casserole were certainly good, but were bland = needed some salt/pepper somewhere in the cooking process. I had the pork ribs - two were good, but the rest were thin and dry/tough like they had been cut well ahead of time and sat under a lamp. We would come back for the chicken fingers and corn, but not for the ribs.
I contemplated on writing this review because no one warned me. So, hopefully this review will warn others from spending their money and wasting their time. A friend of mine recommended this place and I was extremely skeptical. I have drove by plenty of times but never stopped because the outside of the establishment doesn’t look like a place that should be selling food let alone be open; yet I took my friends word and visited on a Thursday. I ordered a chicken platter with collard greens and Mac n cheese. The sides were very underwhelming and bland. I had to add seasoning to the food just to get it to taste somewhat decent. The noodles in the mac n cheese tasted like they had been sitting in pasta water for hours and was colored yellow with food coloring because it definitely did not contain cheese. The collard greens might as well have been chopped and boiled straight out the ground, no seasoning at all. Luckily, the chicken saved me from starving because I refused to eat another bite of the sides. I would recommend that you put the pedal to the metal when you pass this place. My kids have made me better meals with Play-Doh.
Always great smoked BBQ! SO glad that you can buy sauce by the bottle to ship to family across the country. The pork sandwich is always spot on and tender. They serve it togo with sauce coleslaw and a pickle on it. Fresh hand cut fries are one of the many sides offered here. I go here often.
We had an awesome waitress named LaKia who was very cheerful and helful despite the restaurant being shorthanded like everywhere else. An older gentleman monopolized her time but she was very patient with him. The food was delicious. They really need to move the commode in the ladies room though. 😅🤣It's really close to the wall.
Exceptional service, quick delivery of fresh flavorful food. I had the smoked turkey sandwich on white bread with hot bbq sauce, lettuce, tomato & cheese. A little messy for the car so Iâll get it on a bun next time. Definitely look forward to tryi
Really clean and nice atmosphere. Staff was friendly and helpful. Brisket dinner was delicious and nice sized portion for the price. Side salad had lots of toppings. Mac n cheese was homemade, Cole slaw and beans were also homemade. Everything was gr

This is one of the coolest playground parks on the planet. We bring all of our friends here if they have kids. And the big kids like playing too. Nothing like watching some college students and adults and parents playing on some of the playground app
Finally got to visit and I will certainly be back. The employees are so kind and helped me decide what to order (hazelnut latte and lemon cranberry muffin...10/10) and the atmosphere is delightful. It's a great spot just off the main downtown. Purcha
I moved to Eagles West for my senior year and it is by far the best living situation I've had in Auburn. The staff are extremely friendly, quick to respond, and always willing to be upfront and volunteer information they think will help. Maintenance
What an absolute blessing for Auburn! I havenât seen FRESH Mexican pastries since I was a little girl in San Antonio, Texas! Fresh and delicately sweet and soft to crisp and delicious, you can find a new favorite breakfast treat, lunch pick me up
Very well kept and peaceful. Worth going for sure if youâre in the Auburn area. Has a good running trail as well. The playground is super nice and covered from the heat.
