Country Yard Inn & Suites I-55 Miner/Sikeston - Hotel in Sikeston - 110 S Interstate Dr, USA

Upon walking into the room immediately I found sawdust and dirt on the floor. I pulled back the bedding to find the top sheet was dirty. The towels in the bathroom were stained. There was mold in several different places in the bathroom. The air filters were completely clogged and dirty. The toilet had not been cleaned it was filthy with poop on the toilet! Then they have the audacity to charge $70.00 I couldn't even sit in the lounge chair because someone had peed in the chair. I want my money back! I have plenty of pictures for proof.

The room was clean and there were no signs of bedbugs or other infestations, so sanitation was not a concern, but no toiletries such as soap and toothpaste were provided, the bathroom door lock didn't work, the air conditioner filter was so clogged it could barely move air, and the remote control didn't work. I had to look up the remote on the internet and figure out how to program it before I could use it, and I cleaned the air conditioner filter in the shower so we could get some cooling. We also had to go shopping to get soap, toothpaste, shampoo, etc. The blankets were also very thin and light, so if you need some thicker or heavier blankets to be comfortable, you will need to bring your own. Overall, it was a good value for the price we paid, but it was the bare minimum.

What a disappointment! Arrived at the hotel late only to find we could not get into the office to let them know we had a reservation. Had to call a number noted on the door only to be asked where are you? As we were standing in the cold outside the door. Remodeling being done on so we had to wait in car for gentleman to get us paperwork and room key. Room had an undefinable pungent unclean smell and the toilet had major stains. We immediately contacted front desk and told them we were not staying, he asked why and then offered another room. Unfortunately, the entire place looked like we would have the same issue no matter what room we were in. We politely refused and he just said leave key in room and we left. The cost may be inexpensive but buyer beware...

Room smelled wet and moldy. Upon further inspection found black mold growing on ceiling. No washcloth or towels provided in room. Chair in room was severely stained with God knows what. No light bulbs in lamps beside the bed. Will never stay here again.

Nice place, friendly people, dog friendly, easy parking, great room rates for the budget minded. New owners are making improvements. Will definitely stay here again

We came to paint job in town stayed here at this property. The rooms are clean staff was friendly and we enjoy our stay.

If you’re on a budget and don’t need much it works, but a few more dollars somewhere else would be better. Shower took forever to get warm, microwave didn’t work, and at first our room key didn’t work..

Rooms were clean and service was good. Was Leary about staying based on previous reviews. But they are under new management and are doing a good job keeping up with it.
