We loved our stay at this beautiful little bed and breakfast. We got the Southern Belle room that adjoins a room with a jacuzzi bathtub which was just wonderful. There were even a couple oils on the side of the tub for our enjoyment. There is also a bathroom that has a shower in the room in case you prefer showers over baths. The bed was very comfortable, especially the pillows. The room was spacious enough and even had a cozy chair in the corner. They have a tv in the room with plenty of channels and "on demand". The house is beautiful and was decorated for Christmas. There is a pool in the back which was very clean especially for the time of year. I have never seen water so clean and clear. This was the first b&b I've been to that leaves snacks out on the counter for you in case you get hungry which was nice. Breakfast was yummy and there were plenty of options to choose from in case you have allergy concerns. Sonny (the owner of the b&b) was very kind and funny, we chatted for a bit. I almost forgot to mention that there is free wifi and a computer that is available to use. The house and property was very well kept and we really enjoyed our stay at Country Ridge B&B.

My husband and I stayed at this bed and breakfast in Opelousas, Louisiana and really loved it. Sonny and Sheila were very nice and accommodating to our needs, and even allowed our dog to stay with us. The food was great and the house was very clean. They also had a large in ground pool that was perfect with the heat outside in South Louisiana! They recommended places for us to eat, and we really loved both of the places that they recommended. We will definitely stay here again, and because the experience was so pleasant and relaxing, we will look for bed and breakfasts in the future rather than hotels!

My husband and I spent our third wedding anniversary and his 31st birthday here ! We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend it . The service that we had was impeccable . We stayed in the Acadian suite, it had a king size comfy bed, and huge bathtub for two ! It was the nicest bathtub that i have ever been in .Breakfast was good ,and we enjoyed feeling like we were at a home away from home . The hospitality that the owners showed us, made us feel like we were staying with family ! We didn't get to spend much time on the grounds of the property , but the backyard area is very nicely decorated , with a huge in ground swimming pool . Very quiet neighborhood, so it is very relaxing outside. A short drive to Lafayette and Breaux Bridge .If your looking for a good place to eat that is close by , eat at Steamboat Warehouse ! Overall we loved our visit and the people, we would def go back !

My wife and I stayed here while traveling. We enjoyed our stay very much. The Bed and Breakfast features a very spacious great room with TV and comfortable seating. The bedroom was very clean with excellent amenities. The room and bathroom was spotless and the bed was the most comfortable we have experienced. Breakfast casserole was very good. It is located very near the Interstate and easy to access. Host provided great local information on places to visit and great dining choices. As a former B & B inspector, I was impressed with the attention to detail in providing everything necessary for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Our stay could not have been and better. We traveled as a group, 7 of us and rented all 4 bedrooms. This was so much better than a hotel. We were able to use the Great Room to all sit ,relax and visit. Sonny welcomed us to his home with true southern charm. We were all getting dresses to attend a wedding and at one point there was a little thunderstorm and the electricity kicked off, and immediately a generator kicked on so everyone was ready on time. An unexpected extra. Each and every one of us were so pleased with our accommodations and service. The beds were comfortable, and a little on the higher side( there was a stepping stool provided). The pool and patio was the perfect place for coffee and relaxation. Breakfast was enjoyed by all. We traveled to nearby Washington for a little browsing at the Old School House Antique Mall if you are looking for the old and nostalgic. Overall these accommodations were perfect for our needs. Thanks to Sonny and his southern hospitality .

The B&B is located a bit outside of downtown Opelousas but is one of very few B&B's in the area. We were just passing through Town & stayed for just one night. Sonny provided us with a very warm welcome and made us feel right at home. Since we were he only guests staying over that night we literally had the whole (big) house to ourselves. The home made Breakfast casserole as well as the other goodies which Sonny left for us made for a delicious breakfast the next morning. If your in Opelousas - great place to stay.

We took our parents for a short break, the home is very homely, like staying with family. The home is outdated but very comfortable & clean. the breakfast are prepared the day before & left in the fridge to warm up in the morning, snacks are available too. My dad is very picky when it comes to eating but Sonny made sure he had what he wanted. We were the only ones staying so we had the house to ourselves, not sure how it would work if there was another couple staying as there is only one kitchen table. The pool was very inviting but unfortunately never went in. Sonny is an amazing & funny host & recommends places to eat & visit in that area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Large rooms and comfortable sitting room, tasty breakfasts - however prepared the day before. Friendly host pointed us to great dining options and points of interest in and around Opelousas. The garden must be beautiful in the right season (we visited in early March - and it snowed!) Note that the property is quite close to a major highway and the house less glamorous than the photos suggest. Comfeortable, but nothing special.

Nice place. Sometimes you’ll find feces on the floor of the restrooms. To be expected in a restroom but when I worked there it was more prominent then any other restroom I’ve had to clean in my near 20 years of life. Like every now and then in O
