Country Manor Motel Watkins - Featured Reviews (208)
Favorite place to stay when I visit colorado or when friends visit. Love that they allow pets. It's affordable and I've never had any issues I usually stay at least once a year.
For what it is, wasn't too bad a stay. It's right off of 70 and is in a quiet area. I recommend it, and the owners were very hospitable.
Surprisingly comfortable, had all the amenities of an expensive hotel except the price, very convenient to the freeway, and Lulu's Bar and Grill with excellent food just a three minute walk away on the other side of the gas station. Except for the mystery stain in the carpet I had no complaints at all. Clean and quiet and fairly priced.
OMG this motel should be in a movie! Classic feel with a modern touch! Friendly service and secure appeal. As an OTR driver, I'll be back❤️
Great place to hole up after a long trek across Nebraska and Kansas. Rooms are as unpretentious and comfortable as they can be. Price is right and the bunch that run this place are real easygoing. Called them a month ago and they've stayed in touch. Went to Lula's had a burger last night and a great nights sleep. It's all good. This is a real good option on your way into Denver. Been doing this for decades. Very pleased here.
I don't give 5 star reviews but Mr Wu and his wife are awesome!!! If you want a quaint, clean, roadside motel along I 70... It's where you want to be... May be old but always clean, fair, and every now and then on a Sunday after church there's always a good meal provided!!! Absolutely love this place!!!
Mind you this place may not look like a lot to many people but what is amazing is the people who own and run it. Not have I only stayed here in May but also came back in June and staying for another week. I love it because it’s out of city limits, it’s peaceful and quiet and in a small town with nothing around. The outside premises is very well taken care of along with the inside of the rooms. Yes it is an older place but it has a story to be told. They have been updating each room it seems. It’s affordable for a short term and longer stays. It’s close to a gas station along with a great little bar and restaurant down the street that I highly recommend. Being a small town girl from Montana this motel is by far what you would call a dive place but it feels like home!
In a pinch ( middle of a blizzard ) zero options... It was quiet and warm so given the circumstances they get a 5 star rating for getting up and getting me a room . I've got no complaints
