Positive: NOTHING AT ALL! Negative: The worst place you can go too! No air-conditioning. I was sweating like hell! The place was horrible, disgusting, and there where people drunk and making loud noises. They didn't even care who was there. Also worst customer service. Negative: ""
Positive: Nothing. It should be condemned. Negative: Dirty, smelly, noisy, tv didn't work and room phone didn't work. Negative: ""
I was looking for a one night get away and decided on this hotel for it's price. I guess you really do get what you pay for. Check in was easy but when it came to the room it was nasty. Whoever is in charge of housekeeping is NOT doing their job. They didn't clean the refrigerator in what looked like days, the bed had bedbugs, the sheets had NOT been changed and were stained. They give you a remote for the TV but mine didn't have any signal so I just used my phone instead for entertainment. Also, they didn't leave toilet paper in the bathroom and the front desk lady looked at me as if it was my problem. First off, I'm not going to sit on the toilet for 30 minutes after each use to air dry my ass off or wipe it with my bare hand. Second, why should I have to buy the basic essentials when 99.9% of hotels provide that for you. It's common sense. I used to work at hotels myself and know what should be done. Save your money and go elsewhere! I don't ever plan to come back.
This was absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed at! The room smelled moldy. There was mold on the roof, a huge dead Roach in the cabinet underneath the sink. The AC unit was covered in filth. The pillows had stains on them which looked like blood. Underneath the bed was not swept at all. The walls were dirty, the table was chipped everywhere. The chairs were Dusty and dirty. The cables to the appliances were disgusting. Even the chain to lock the door was disgusting. The TV remote was sticky. The bath towels had hair on them. There was filth inside of the cabinets. There wasn't a bag in the ice bucket and the ice bucket was dirty. The toilet paper was not a brand new roll so we ran out almost right away. They change the Wi-Fi password daily so you have to walk to the office in order to get a new one. I stayed more than one night and the next day my key was no longer active so I also had to walk to the office so they could reactivate it. To top it off it was well over $100 a night. They should not get away with taking advantage and treating people like this. I called booking.com and was on hold for over 1 hour. I need to speak to someone right away!
Pleasantly surprised! Very sweet woman checked me in, she was super helpful & nice. My particular room was clean & comfortable, non-smoking room, I was worried it would smell like cigarettes because they do have smoking rooms also but it smelled clean, no hint of cigarettes at all! Microwave/fridge more amenities here than some higher priced places I have stayed. Great bathtub, very clean, & looked new! Again, I've stayed at more expensive places where the bathtub was scary looking & I dreaded having to take a shower lol. Clean, nice, comfy bed. Floors looked new, pretty wall tile in bathroom. Great job!
I felt room is under maintenance, exposed wires in main room, unfinished roof in bathroom. Floor is sticky, Air conditioner is too loud, bed make sound.. hard to sleep. Advantage: every close to city. Just for night/few hours it’s okay.
Upon arrival, our room was not cleaned, at all. Used linen with pubic hair on them, the floor was very dirty, the sink had a layer of old toothpaste and soap residues. The TV wasn't working. When we asked for new beddings the manager was helpful. Since we only stayed one night, and arrived late at night we didn't bother to make any more fuzz. Wouldn't stay there again, although it's a budget motel there are nicer ones in the area.
This was our first adventure as a family with our newest addition, a beautiful new baby boy. We were ecstatic to escape the mundane and venture across state lines to show our son Damien the mountains, the coast, and the ocean. Departing from a horrific snow storm in Dayton Ohio, we traveled down to south Florida, Florida City to be exact, to soak in the sun and waters. |Given that we just had a baby, and my wife wasn't back to work yet, our money was very tight going into this, however I was determined to take this vacation. With a small budget I opted for the Country Lodge Inn. It had extremely reasonable rates and was within a 30 min drive to the ocean. I wasn't too worried about a crummy hotel because I anticipated the time spent in our room to be minimal. |Boy was I wrong. Being new parents recovering from a 17 hour drive with a newborn left us too exhausted to truly appreciate the outdoors. Which just meant relaxation in our crummy hotel. With coastal winds and perfect temperatures they opted for no form of controlled climate for the rooms, which is perfectly fine if you don't mind hearing people yell outside all night, because you must leave your windows open. |What I did mind was the very specific stain on our bedsheets. Not from food or drink, but something much more adult. And after requesting and receiving new sheets to find that they too were gross. Overall their service was bad, the cleanliness was nonexistent, and the location turned into more of an issue, than a benefit. The traffic in Florida that time of year was hideous(which is expected, but I had no idea HOW bad).|But for 40 shillings a night, and late booking, I suppose it could've been worse..
We occasionally find this paradise of sweets on our journey to the Everglades. The best key lime pie we ever had. The original and guava flavor are the best while the rest are also delicious. It should be on the must-go list for every South Florida v
Let me say that this was some very good food it doesn't look like much from the outside but it is very quiet inside, the food was very good the pork the beef and chicken was great, I've seen in Florida City!! Made with love and spice will be back aga
Steak and shrimp was fresh and delicious, service was great. Highly recommend the cactus flower. Their signature fresh baked bread was sweet with some spices like cinnamon, quite different than usual bread yet we did enjoy it with salty butter. Overa
We came for breakfast and really enjoyed everything that we ordered (coffee, eggs, sausages, home fries, French toast, omelette, and steak+eggs). They have so many seafood options and Iâd love to come back and try their lunch and dinner offerings.
I visited Top Taste Jamaican Restaurant on my way to Key West and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the food. The jerk chicken was tender and flavorful, the rice and peas were cooked to perfection, and the plantains were sweet
I am surprised that this is a Best Western property. It is a vast contrast to their other properties that I have stayed at. The location is great but that is all that is good about it. I travel a lot and I try to stay within an amount to be sure to g
