So the hotel is conveniently located, but that is about as far as I can go with the compliments. When their sign says limited service they really should say no service. I checked in went to my room and there was dog food kernels in the closet I assume from the previous guests. That tells me housekeeping didn't do a very good job cleaning the room. I had to ask housekeeping and wait in the hallway for a roll of toilet paper because I was out by the third day, I was there for 8 nights. According to the sign they have posted in the hotel rooms are supposed to get fresh towels and trash taken out at the minimum. My trash never got taken out once. Next, even after I spoke with 5 different people I never got fresh towels. I spoke to 2 different front desk employees and 3 different housekeepers and still no fresh towels. I took the do not disturb sign down so there was no excuse for them not to drop off some towels after I asked. On top of all that, all night long I heard their washing machines banging around on the floor above me and could hear the water draining from them in the pipes between the walls all night long. The hallway was always dirty looking as well. The only reason I am leaving a 2 star review and not lower is because the location was convenient and the price was reasonable.
I stayed one night at The Country Inn and Suites in Wilson, NC. The front desk person was not overly friendly. There was only one elevator and it was very slow. The room was spacious but I had a hard time getting the heat regulated. The Wi-Fi was good. The TV was nice with a lot of channels. I wore earplugs to bed. Good thing because the heater was noisy. think if I ever come to this are again I might go to Comfort Inn.
We were just looking for a clean, quiet and conveniently located hotel off of I95 as we were tired from driving through on our way to NJ from FL. This is exactly what we got at this hotel and we appreciated it. It's a good thing I didn't have time to read the negative reviews because our experience was different from those who didn't like this hotel. The breakfast could be better. The coffee was too watery, so I didn't have any, and the eggs and sausages were very unappealing. I just toasted a bagel w cream cheese and made a tea. The lady working in the breakfast area was friendly and the area was kept clean. We were given a room on the 4th floor all the way in the back and I'm not sure if any other room here would have been as quiet because the walls are paper thin, but thankfully we had a rested night.
I had a really nice stay here, was only here 1 night. It was just my dog and I, they are pet friendly but there is a standard 30$ charge. But everything was pleasant the guy who checked me into my room was very nice and the lady who was doing checkout was very nice as well. I would definitely recommend for a quick stop and a clean place to rest! (I’m not a breakfast person so I didn’t try the breakfast but my cup of coffee was just fine)
Stayed over for a quick getaway. Everything was fine, UNTIL. I was trying to put my baby to sleep early in the afternoon. The staff outside in the hall was talking so loud that I could hear everything they said (I won’t repeat it, it’s none of my business). They were talking, laughing loudly for what was about an hour. Finally, I heard a man telling the group to stop holding the elevator door open- and I agreed, it’s not good for its longevity. That’s when the party somewhat disbursed. I’m always on the side of hospitality because I’m in hospitality but this was beyond the pale. I should not have heard them so loudly and clearly. Other than that, we had a pretty good time.
Derek at the front desk was very helpful. Room was nice 2-room suite. Pet fee of $30 for 2 small dogs. Only wish that I could book a pet-friendly room on Choice website versus calling the hotel.
Room was clean, spacious,a lot smelled nice. Curtains were dirty though. Bathroom floor was very cracked and needed to be retiled. No coffee was available 24hrs for the room price. Breakfast was terrible. Sausage looked like it was reheated leftover from previous day and egg patties were rubbery and tasteless. Sign by bread area said to-go breakfast bags were available at front desk but attendant was clueless and said there were none. Only bright spot was the morning coffee was good. Too expensive for stay amenities.
Staff is rude and unprofessional. We did not feel safe staying there after interaction with the male front desk receptionist, but the hotel checked us in stating we used the room/booking so we were not able to get a refund. Spoke with the manager who did not want to hear where I was coming from stating thousands of people have stayed there and never said they felt unsafe.

Super Nice staff and great location right off I-95 but far enough from the highway so you don't hear the traffic. The breakfast was really good in a beautiful dining room with large screen televisions. The room was very clean and comfortable. Everyth
